"Oh, come on Jasmine."

"I’m sorry; I could be picky at times but this dress has to be perfect."

"Why would you need a perfect dress for?"

"Well, there’s a contest for the most beautiful girl and this girl in earth wants to beat me at that contest."

"Oh really? Why didn’t you tell me that?"

"How am I supposed to know?" Selena walks over to her closet and takes out a beautiful red dress out behind the clothes. Jasmine’s eyes are glue to the dress and she knows it’s the perfect dress.

"Will this one do?"

"Sure!"

"I knew you would say that." She hands Jasmine the red dress and walks over to the other dresses to put them away.

"So, what is this grand prize of this contest?"

"If I won, I get to dance with a cute boy in earth."

"Really, he’s that cute?"

"Of course he is."

"How about Meng?" Something struck her and her face turns red. Selena turns around to see her face turning red.

"You really like him do you?"

"No, I don’t."

"How come your face is red?"

"That’s because you’re embarrassing me."

"Fine. Your words can lie but your heart can’t." She turns around and opens the door.

"If you’re going to that party, you might as well go right now because the portal is very far away."

"Why can’t we just teleport?"

"It’s too far and if I teleport there, I wouldn’t have any energy left to open the portal for you."

"Alright, let’s go." They both set off out the door and into the sky.

Meanwhile, Meng got back home, very tired. Rustling sounds alerted him and he lights a torch on fire with a snap of his fingers.

"Who’s there?" he said,"come out or I’ll blast you out!"

"Alright, I’m coming." Meng knows that there’s another torch right by where the noise is and lights it with a snap of his fingers.

"Richard, what are you doing here?"

"I was about to ask you that."

"This is my room Richard."

"And you’re supposed to chase Jasmine."

"Why would I be chasing to another world?"

"You know the reason."

"What is it?"

"I know you like her." Meng’s face fells warm when Richard said it.

"What are you talking about, I don’t like her."

"Sure you don’t," and he gives him a little wink.

"You!" Meng conjures up a fireball in his hand and Richard sank down.

"Hey, no need to get mad."

"Then don’t do that wink at me."

"Find, I wouldn’t do it," he said with a smile. Meng turns his back to Richard and took a deep breath.

"So what are you going to do then?"

"What do you mean what I’m going to do?"

"You do like her, do you not?" Another fireball conjures in his hand and Richard backs down a bit.

"Look shorty, I don’t want anything coming out of mouth, you hear me," but the deep slow pounding of his heart starts to confuse him.

Do I want to go or do I not, he thought to himself. Richard quickly teleported out of the room while he silently rooted to one spot, thinking about it.

Selena was flying above the forest carrying Jasmine with her left arm.

"There!" Jasmine said surprise,"it’s over there." Selena circle around the area before landing on the spot. She walks over to the two cross tree and knelt down on the ground.

"Stand back, I’m going to recite a spell." Jasmine nodded and back away from her. She chanted a few words and touches the soil. Sparks leaps out of her fingertips and race over to the two trees. The trees then begin to glow and a circle appears with many random colors swirling inside it.

"Is that the portal?"

"Yep, it is." Jasmine stared at the portal, the colors continues to randomly swirl inside the circle.

"I could go from here, thanks."

"No problem. Oh, and one more thing, don’t mess up my dress."

"Don’t worry; I’ll take good care of it." She smiles at her and jumps into the portal. Relax that she’s safe, Selena started to walk away but she felt like something just enter the portal and looks behind her.

"It’s probably my imagination," she said to herself and she closes the portal with a snap.

Jasmine made it safely to her closet and laid the dress on her bed.

"First, I must do my hair first." She went into the bathroom and went through the cabinets for hair spray. Her hand begins to steady on her the faucet until –

ZOOM! Crack, crack, BOOM!

She became alert of the sound and opens the bathroom door.

"Aaaahhhh!" she screamed when she saw the dress turning into ashes. She looks to her right and she couldn’t believe her eyes.

"Richard!" He hovers by the closet in his small fairy which a nervous expression.

"I - I’m sorry Jasmine, I didn’t mean to."

"Aw, come on Richard. What am I going to wear at that party?"

"Beats me." Disappointed, Jasmine sits down, looking at the ashes of the dress. Then she looks at Richard who is looking down at the ground, feeling guilty.

What am I’m going to do now, she thought inside her head, I can’t find another dress like that soon and all the other dresses are disgusting. She continues to focus her look on Richard.

"Unless…" then an idea popped inside Jasmine’s head. She stands up and extends her hand to Richard who backs away in alarm.

"What are you doing?"

"Come on Richard, lets form."

"You want to form here? But there’s no enemy here."

"But every time I form with you fairies, you guys change into my clothing and fuse with my soul."

"So?"

"I want to form with you so you can transform into a dress for me."

"What?! I don’t want to do that!"

"Hey, who’s the one that destroy my dress?" Feeling guilty, he raises his hand to her. She happily takes it and form with him.
