A seventeen years old, Jasmine, never knew any mysterious gaps in her past and what lies ahead of her. She doesn’t know her destiny until she meant a fairy that changes her life. Read what happen to her and you’ll find out it soon enough…
"Nobody believes in fairies, Jasmine. Grow up already will you?"

There were two girls who are walking down the isle of Redwood High school. Jasmine is the one wearing a yellow sweater and a blue jean. Her eyes are the color of the ocean and her hair is pitch black as coal with skin as pale as moonlight. Her friend has the same features only that her eyes were as brown as chocolate.

Jasmine walk ahead and said, "I know nobody believes in fairies Hannah but I keep sensing things in my closet you know like some kind of monster or something."

"Oh Jasmine, grow up already. You know there is no such thing as monsters."

"I know, I know but there is something in my closet, really."

"No Jasmine, there is nothing in your closet. Just your Clothes alright so don’t panic or anything, it’s nothing."

"Okay Hannah, you’re right, maybe it is just my clothes moving around a…" but before she could even finish her sentence, she slipped on a banana. She fell with a thump on the ground lying on her back. Anybody who is around laugh at her as they saw what is supposes to be a sudden accident. She looked up to see Shannon, her enemy, laughing like an ugly witch and her enemy’s friend, Gloria, who obviously, holding a banana peel. Jasmine looked at her with fiery eyes as she shoots all of her hatred to her. Hannah quickly helped her up and looked upstairs. She looked at Jasmine, whose eyes are not like the ocean no more but red as a burning fire inside. From just that one look, Hannah could tell she was very mega mad.

Jasmine bolted up the stairs and punched Shannon on the face and she fell backwards landing hard on the floor. As Shannon was getting up, she hit her in the stomach and kicks her head to the wall. She was about to strike again but Gloria caught hold of her and began stretching her arms. Hannah ran for help as she sees the fighting scene going on. Jasmine kicked Gloria’s leg, which she fell down kneeling before her and before she knows it, her head was shot with pain as Jasmine kick her in the chin. Shannon took a running start but as a result she ran into Gloria instead and fell on her.

Jasmine turned her around and was about to hit her again but something caught her fist. She looked around to see it was the rest of Shannon’s gang. The girls took the other arm and hold her as if they were capturing a prisoner. Shannon, smiling, punched her on the stomach, which shot pain throughout her body. Shannon grabbed a fistful of hair was about to hit her face when a hand stopped her arm. Shannon looked around to see who it was and saw the principal himself holding her forearm.

"What do you think you are doing?"

"Oh, nothing Principal Wong."

"You know that I don’t tolerate fights in school."

"Yes, sir." Shannon’s friend let go of Jasmine when the Principal walk towards them. As soon as she was let go she was about to run off but the Principal got hold of her and whisper into her ear, "Meet me at the office at once." Madly she turned to the right hall towards the principal’s office. In there the secretary was waiting for her. She sat on the chair next to the principal’s office and wait.

The Principal finally came through the door and motion for her to come. They both went into the office and the Principal immediately sat at his chair. The Principal motion her to sit at the chair that is straight across him. There was a long pause until he broke the silent by saying, "So you started the fight did you?"

"No, I didn’t."

"You know just because you’re my daughter didn’t mean that you can do whatever you want?"

"But I didn’t start the fight father."

"So now you’re saying that you accidentally punched her square in the nose last year? You know that I cannot protect you forever."

"I know but like I say, they started first and it really was an accident last year that I punched her in the face, which she deserves."

"And that means that a fight broke just because of that?"

"Didn’t you even hear the whole story!? She kicked me down the river and I almost drown!"

"Stop lying, I know you are using that story to cover up just to get off the hook."

"Why wouldn’t you listen to me? I mean, you wouldn’t believe in your own daughter? What’s wrong with you? Aren’t you suppose to protect me in some way and not trying to attack me when I’m most vulnerable?"

"That’s what other students suspect me to do, Jasmine. They suspect me to be kind to you always o.k. Jasmine! I have to be fair to everyone, even though it means suspending my daughter or even expelling her!"

"But mother would have…" but before she could even finish her sentence, her father slap across her face. Anger flushed across his face as he looked at her with his red fiery eyes. "Don’t you ever mention about your mother again," Principal Wong said quietly and angrily. She looked at her father with streams of tears racing across her cheek with sadness and anger across her face. "You may leave my office now," he said calmly as if nothing had happened but she stay put and asked, "Why don’t you want me to mention about her?" She manages to catch his eyes but he looked the other way. "Why? Why can’t I ever bring her up? Why can’t I even speak about her!? Why can’t I even know about my mother’s own existence? Every time I bring her up, you shut me down like I don’t even have a mother and that you are the one who gave birth to me. Why? Why father, why!?"

"Enough!" he yelled as he slams his desk with his palm. Everything was silent. Jasmine stood her ground, afraid but very mad. Finally, she picks up her backpack and race for the door and left his father alone at his desk.

"What happed at the office?" Hannah asked as she was slowly eating her sandwich. Jasmine stared at her but turned away as she was finishing her banana. "No really, what happened?"

"What happened? What happened!? I’ll tell what happened," and she turned her face to let her see the bright red cheek. Hannah gasps and said, "What happened? Did you get slap or something? What did you do?"

"Just the usual," she answered. "Don’t tell me you questioned about your mother again, Jasmine. You know that your father don’t like it when you put your mother in the picture. Especially if your mother has done something wrong."

"I know but still, why? Why would he hate my mother so much that he doesn’t want to talk about her own existence?"

"Maybe it’s one of those rule they both make when they were separated."

"What rule?"

"You know, the ones that were made when parents gets divorce like you can’t come over and see the children until Sunday when we gone to church or something like that, you know."

"And how would you know?"

"Um, Jasmine, remember my parents are divorced."

"Oh sorry, I forget but it’s just irritating me, you know. It seems like you don’t even know your own mother and thought it was like your own father who gave birth to you, you know. I just don’t feel right."

"Don’t worry Jasmine, I know how it felt like not having a mother."

"Oh, I’m sorry Hannah, to bring this up."

"Don’t worry, I’m used to it."

Only ten seconds left, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, RING! And school is out for the summer! Jasmine dashes out, holding her friend’s hand by hand. As they were walking out the door, Feline tapped her desk to get everybody’s attention. "Listen up!" she said in a big manly voice, "I am holding a summer party at my house in July third and I’m inviting everybody in this class to go and party!" Everybody in the classroom shouted in excitement about that party and continued to rush through the door. Everybody was outside, Laughing, joking, running and doing flips. Jasmine and Hannah were the last ones out until Shannon and her gang blocked their way.

"So Jasmine, going to the party?"

"Why would you ask, rotten head?"

"Oh, I’m just asking because Feline is also holding a contest for the most beautiful dress and the winner gets to kiss and dance with prince Mark Johnson." Jasmine froze. She had always been dreaming of dancing and going out with Mark Johnson who is the most handsome man in their high school, which is why he is call prince Mark Johnson because of his charming abilities and his handsome blond face. This is my opportunity; she thought inside her head but went back to reality and said, "So what, you think that you can beat me in that contest?"

"Sure, of course. I never seen you wear a dress before and plus you are worse compare to me because I’m prettier and more intelligent than you." This fueled her anger to the top level because nobody has ever called here ugly and dumb before. She was about to raise her fist but Hannah stopped her and pushes her past Shannon and her gang. Shannon looked back and said, "Hey, don’t bother coming, you know who’s going to win," and she walked away laughing. Jasmine was angry as she walked with Hannah but her ears could still hear the wicked laugh of the witch. Must contain, she thought to herself, must contain anger or witch will get beat up. Then they reached the car and drove away.

Jasmine was inside her bed, searching through her closet. Dresses is what she thought about once she got home. "Too fat, too skinny, too royal, too formal, too ugly, too small, too yellow, too medieval…" she said as she was searching through her closet for a perfect dress. Then she found it, the perfect white dress with diamonds and sapphire decorating it. "This is Perfect!" she thought aloud and quickly set it on her bed. As she was about to go out, she heard a noise from her closet, a very scratching noise. She stood there but force herself to admit that it was her own imagination. She head for the door and turned the knob but then a crashing noise came from her closet. What ever that is, it sounded more real than the scratching noise. She looked at the door and opens it slowly and closes it back. She creeps to the closet, trying not to make the slightest sound. As she went closer, she heard voices saying, "Quiet, this is a mission, not a playground."

"Sorry but I just got too excited."

"Shhhh… this is the human world, you could easily get expose here."

"I know, I know. It’s just that…" Crash… "What was that?" Jasmine accidentally rows her bowling ball, which came crashing to her model of a house she made two years ago. "Hurry, we got to hide," the voice said. Oh no you don’t, Jasmine though as she was running towards her closet. She reached for the slider and opened it. Nothing was there, only her boring clothes. She begins to search desperately through her closet knowing that it isn’t her imagination. She turned away, admitting again that it was her imagination but then something caught her eye. A pair of wing-like butterfly was sticking out of her pile of laundry.
