Meanwhile on earth, Principal Wong is pacing back and forth, worrying.

"Man, if I lost her, they will rip me up for this." Then a glimmer of hope leaps into his eyes.

"I know where she is now," and he went upstairs.

Back in the fairy world, Val looks into a desire pond, surrounded by trees. The desire pond is a strange pond that creates its own ripples. The ripples then created images of things of what the person desires. Twice when Val looks into it, it creates the image of animals and fairies living peacefully. Four times it shows his family and Selena but the ripples mostly show Jasmine’s illuminating face. Every now and then he would shake his head to see if what he see is right. Selena look into the pond in which the ripple shows Val’s face.

"What did you see when you look into the pond?" she asked.

"Um…my family and peace," he lied.

"I see." Selena went to check on a teapot and pour some medicine into a cup. She went to Val and hands him the cup.

"Here, this should lessen the pain."

"Thanks," he said taking the cup and taking a sip from it.

"You know, I don’t know why this place is your favorite. Is it because there’s a desire pond here?"

"You might say that."

"Really? So when you look into the pond, do you see me?"

"Sometimes."

"How often?"

"Um…ten to twenty times."

"Really? That much?"

"Yes."

"I thought so." Then she turns to the fireplace which lights up the trees nearby. She walks up to a tree and examines the carving of a heart pierced by an arrow with the writings, "Selena and Val forever." She smiles and turns to look at Val again.

"What other things do you see?"

"What do you mean?"

"You know, other than peace, your family and me." He looks deep into the pond as another ripple form and creates another image of Jasmine.

"Nothing else," he lied to her once again. Selena looks up at the moon, seeing it halfway up the sky.

"It’s getting late. We should go home."

"Sure. I’ll put out the fire," and with one wave of his hand, the forest turns dark.

"Is this your room?" Jasmine asked as she twists herself around to see bedroom.

"Yes, why?"

"It’s so organize. I thought that boys are so sloppy."

"What do you mean that boys are so sloppy?"

"Hey, it isn’t my fault that boys on earth are sloppy."

"Hmph… at least I see now how you got that attitude of yours."

"What attitude?"

"Well, girls on the fairy world are more mature than girls on earth."

"Hey, you take that back this instant! I am mature as the fairies here."

"Huh…yeah right. You answer with your fist while the girls in this world talk out their problems."

"You…you know nothing of my kind."

"Who says I don’t. We are actually more advance than you guys if we want to but all of the fairies in this world agree not to taint this world with technology and all that crap so it won’t hurt our ecosystem."

"And it’s all that nice?"

"Yes, of course."

"Hmph…I see now how you guys are wild like the animals."

"What?! You take that back this instant!"

"Not unless if you take what you said back first."

"Look at you! You’re acting immaturely right now. I can’t believe someone like you is a former, a spoil rotten girl." Jasmine grabbed a stick and smacks his head. Meng fell to the ground and look up at Jasmine whose nostril is blowing steam.

"For a girl, you are very strong like an ox you are." Her eyes begin to turn red with fire and she raises the stick above her head. Meng knows now that he is in trouble and runs for the door but Jasmine throws the stick and it pierces through the door and the wall, acting like a lock.

"You are going to get it now!" she rages as she picks up a chair.

GULP. Seconds later, Meng’s screaming is heard throughout the house; follow by sticks whacking the walls and Meng’s skull.

"What happened last night?" Chufue asked as he is going to the bathroom. Meng looks Chufue with flaming eyes.

"Um…never mind me then."

"Hey," Richard yawned as he gets out of his room, "What was all that racket last night? First, I heard screaming then…" Richard opens his eyes for the first time and looks at Meng’s bruises all over his face.

"AH HA HA HA HA HA HA…!" Richard starts to howl with laughter, pointing one finger at him. Meng started to twitch all over his body as he takes in this humiliation.

"You look like you’ve been beaten by a girl or something," he said now choking with laughter.

"I’ll kill you!" Richard started to run ahead and Meng chases him.

"What the hell is happening?" Selena eyes widen as she saw Meng choking Richard who is still laughing but he’s waving a white flag. "Wind force," Chufue cast and separated them both.

"There’s no time for rough housing." He walks into the bathroom and closes the door behind him. Meng was about to continue but Selena cuts in and tell him not to choke him. He stood up and went up to a shell and picks it up.

"Where’s Nicole?" he asked the shell and immediately the shell projected a image of Nicole in the healing room. He puts his head on his forehead and said, "Go." He disappears in a blind of an eye.

"Is he o.k.?" Selena and Richard look towards at Jasmine who is opening the door.

"Oh he’s fine, just a little bruise that’s all."

"Where did he go?"

"He just went into the healing room a moment ago." Jasmine looks at the ground and thinks for a moment. Then she went into a storage room and takes out two breads and was about to go out the door.

"Where are you going?" She looks back and sees Val behind her.

"Oh, good morning Val. I’m just going to the healing room to give Meng some bread to eat."

"I see. How about I go with you?"

"Oh, thank you for your kindness."

"Um…but Val, aren’t we going somewhere?" Selena asked very quickly.

"We could go another time."

"But I want to go now. Can’t Richard go with her?"

"Oh no, I got something to do too and I can’t cancel it."

"You see Richard have something to do. Come on Jasmine, this way."

"But isn’t the door this way?"

"You want to take the long way or the short way?"

"There’s a short way?!"

"Yes, over here." He picks up the shell and asked for Meng. The shell projected an image of Meng in the healing room. Val tells Jasmine to hold onto his arm before he said, "Go." Selena and Richard looks at where they used to be before they begin to move. Chufue came out of the bathroom and goes into his room.

"Well, I would like to go to bed now."

"I thought you said you have something to do?"

"Oh, really?" Richard sees Selena’s nostrils started to flare up and starts to run around the room.

"Man I hate this," Julia said, sitting up in her bed. She looks at the pictures of her family which reminded her of her past. Flashbacks start to appear before her eyes as a black red eyed fairy appears before her and repeats some words inside her head.

"Your name will be cruse, those who says it will die. You’re worthless. You can only harm other with the curse I set upon you. Your name is a nasty name; nobody will ever say it again."

"Stop it, stop it." She said to herself but it keeps repeating as she saw the black fairy who keeps pointing at her and repeating those hurtful words.

"Psychic memory suppression," she cast and the flashbacks starts to fade but she knew it will come back to haunt her again. Even though she knows that the curse had lifted years ago, she can’t accept her birth name for it kills the people she loved.

"I will kill that Dark fairy. Not even with the help of that worthless former."
