Element Fairies 6

The transformation is similar to when she form with Meng but instead, this aura is cold like ice. Ice crystals form around her and cover her whole body. Then the wings jutted out and the ice crystal break revealing and completing her transformation. She wore blue leather boots and long leather gloves. Her shirt is replaced by a strapless dress with ribbons tie around her arm. She wears the white headband upon her head with an ice crystal emblem in the center and the ice crystal emblem appear on her chest symbolizing the guardian frost.

"She did it," Chufue exclaims.

"Hurry, we have to get to work," and they all went to do their part except Jasmine, who doesn’t know what to do yet.

"Can you hear me?" Val whispers from inside her mind. She flinches immediately and he asks her, "What’s wrong?"

"Nothing, it’s just that, I’m not comfortable yet."

"I see, will anyway we got a job to do."

"Right but what am I suppose to do"

"I’m the fairy of ice; use the ice aura to your disposal."

"O.k. and she fly to the Phantasm and begin to cast her spell. An ice ball starts to form her hand as the aura increase. "Ice ball!" she cast and the ball of ice hits the monster’s arm. The arm completely vaporizes but it regenerates back.

"Darn, it doesn’t seem to affect him," she told Val.

"That magic is a little too weak. I think you should cast some advance ones."

"O.k. how do I do that?"

"You just have to use a large amount of the aura to cast more powerful ones."

"Alright, I’ll try," and she circles around the monster and stops at a certain point. She closes her eyes to focus on using more auras and pure white energy starts to form on her hand. She opens eyes and cast, "Ice wave!" Soon, a wave of ice hits the Phantasm and destroys all of its legs. The monster shrieks in pain and shot black energy balls at Jasmine but she simply dodges it but the last one hit her.

"Argh!"

"Val!"

"I’m all right. Just hit it with another different spell." Jasmine regains her balance and circle the monster once more. She focuses on another spell and cast, "Ice Gravity!" The sky begins to darken as Jasmine release the aura up the sky. The sky then was replaced by a sheet of ice and it breaks into pieces. The shards slowly slow down towards the ground and stops in midair. The Phantasm looks around him confuse to see so many sharp ice shards around him. Jasmine closes her palm and immediately, the shards quickly stab the monster from all sides. The Phantasm started to limp as it legs, arm, body and head starts to regenerate.

"Last test, summon the weapon now and strike its heart so it won’t regenerate."

"How do you do that?"

"Simple, just focus like before but this time, try turning it into a weapon." Jasmine begins to concentrate hard again and cast, "Ice lance." The lance begins to form before her and she catches it. The lance was decorated gold with an icy cold tip and Frost’s guardian symbol.

"Good, now attack its heart before it regenerate." Jasmine located the heart and rush to it. She slices the heart in half and the fiend wails with pain as it knows it cannot regenerate its limbs.

"Now, the spell." Jasmine hover over the air and feels the ice aura circling around her and the guardian Frost’s symbol appear behind her as a magical circle appear at the bottom of her feet.

"Fanalis spell," and she hover there, focusing. The monster shoots many black energy balls at her but Richard counter it with, "Lightening wall," and a wall made out of lightening appear before jasmine and shielding her from the blast. The aura finally got stronger and she cast, "Hoarfrost leviathan!" A pure ice serpent appears behind Jasmine and looks at the Phantasm closely. Then it shots out pure ice energy at the monster and it froze completely. The leviathan then charges at the monster and breaks it into pieces. Jasmine feels like she’s going to be separated again and quickly landed on the ground. They both got separated and Jasmine look at Val with a cheerful look.

"What?" he asks her. Jasmine quickly grabs him by the collar and kisses his cheek. Val was surprise at the sudden kiss while Meng watch from afar, feeling like he’s falling into pieces. Selena saw this too and runs to Jasmine, standing between them.

"What was that kiss for?" she ask her.

"Oh, nothing. I just want to thank Val for telling me what to do."

"Okay. At least it’s not a kiss of love."

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, nothing. Come on Val, lets go do something fun." She grabs Val’s arm and they both disappear behind the houses. Jasmine doesn’t know where to go until she hears footsteps behind her and turns to see who it is. Chufue and Richard walks towards her and congratulating her on her fight. Jasmine looks down at the ground and screams. Richard looks around her and sees a pool of blood.

"Why is there blood here?" Chufue studies the blood then turn to Jasmine to tell her the answer.

"What? It’s whose blood?"

"It’s Val’s blood."

"Val’s, but why? Why is he bleeding?"

"Did you remember getting hit?" Jasmine back tracks the battle she was in and remembers that she was once hit by one of the black energy ball.

"Yes, I was hit but why isn’t there any scratch on me?"

"It’s the Former’s power," said a familiar voice. Jasmine looks back to see Meng walking towards them.

"Former’s power? What do you mean Former’s power?"

"Once you form with a guardian, that guardian became your power and shield, so if you get hit, the guardian suffers the pain and injury in your place." Fear struck Jasmine’s heart and she fell on her knees.

"Don’t worry," Richard comforts her, "Things don’t go perfect the first time or the second."

"But I hurt him."

"Don’t worry, like I say nothing goes perfect the first time."

"But what if…"

"Quiet, crybaby," Meng snaps at her. Jasmine immediately stops crying and looks at him with her sullen eyes. Meng snatches her forearm and Jasmine obediently follows him.

"Henshi to inferno fairy guardian," and he carries her off in his fairy form. Jasmine looks down and her fears were instantly washed off as she looks at the beautiful lights of the village below her. She then sees a red bird flying beside them and landed on Meng’s shoulder.

"This is Flare, my phoenix. He often flies with me and loves to play too." Jasmine wanted to pet it but dare not.

"Go ahead," he tells her when he sees her eager hand, "Pet him, he wouldn’t mind." Jasmine pets its head a couple of times before it took off again. She realizes that Meng is flying away from the city.

"Where are we going?"

"I’m going to take you to my favorite place." and he landed in front of a cave. He gesture her inside and they both walk into the cave until no light can reach inside.

"It’s so dark. Why is this cave your favorite place anyway?" but Meng only answer with his hand stopping her. He cast, "fire ball," and a flaming ball of fire is created on his palm. Jasmine stares at the fire ball then at Meng who smiles at her with delight as he throws it up in the air and shots his, "fire beam." The beam hit the ball and sparks flies all over the place, illuminating it. At the same time, cave’s crystal like wall reflects the light of the sparks and changes the spark’s color to pure white. The walls themselves give off some white light and the sparks slowly hover down upon them. Jasmine looks happily around her to absorb this beautiful scene she is witnessing. Meng stares at her, his spirit’s lifted to see her happy.

"No matter what happens," he said to himself, "I do anything to protect that smile."
