Element Faires 4

Jasmine felt a sizzling hot aura circling her and the flames enveloped her as her transformation begins within seconds. First, her wings jut out through the flaming cocoon. Then flames extinguished as she rises up from her sitting position which completes her transformation. Her pant was replaced with a mini skirt and her t-shirt was replaced with a sleeveless red shirt. She wore white gloves up to her elbows with red ribbons at the end and she wears the golden headband upon her head with a fire emblem in the center. A fire emblem on her chest symbolizing the guardian inferno and her shoes where replaced by red leather boots.

She slowly rises up from the ledge to face the Phantasm. When she stops, she points a finger at it and say not in just Jasmine’s voice but both Meng’s and her voice said in unison, "Prepare to die Phantasm." The Phantasm roar at the sight of them as it wonders how she had changed into another form. Val stopped to look at the newly form Jasmine and the others did the same.

"A Former," Chufue said surprised.

"A Former? What’s a former Storm?"

"Didn’t you know Terra?"

"Know what?"

"A Former is the ultimate guardian we were waiting for.?"

"Really? She doesn’t look all that great."

"Shhh, just watch them. Let’s see how strong this Former is," said Val is his usual low voice. Jasmine looked at the Phantasm fearless but discouraged as she doesn’t know what she was doing. All she remembers from that moment was that she was holding Meng’s hand, and then a second later she turned into a fairy. She tapped into her mind knowing that Meng must be in there.

"I know you’re in there, speak to me."

"What do you want?"

"What is this?"

"I got fused into you."

"What do you mean fused?! I don’t want you in my body, get out now!"

"I won’t be doing that if I were you."

"Why is that?"

"You and I are fused into one which gave birth to another power to destroy that Phantasm."

"O.k. How?"

"I’ll tell you when we fight; right now the Phantasm is attacking us." Jasmine looked up and dodges the Phantasm’s arm as it attacks. The Phantasm shots its powerful black beam towards Jasmine. Jasmine turned and they both scream in unison as it was closing in but Chufue was just on time when he cast, "Wind barrier" and the winds collected to form a barrier around Jasmine.

"Don’t worry, we’ll protect you," Chufue said as Val and Selena distract the Phantasm with their magic.

"Don’t you ever scream like that again! I sounded like a sissy when you did it!"

"Hey, I’m a girl, I can’t help it."

"O.k. lets just focus on destroying that oversize fiend."

"Yeah but how?"

"I’m the fairy of fire; use the new fire energy to destroy it." The Phantasm shots another beam at their direction but it miss and Jasmine tried to conjure a fire magic as she flew. Little pieces of fire formed on her palm and she shots it as she cast, "Spark’s fire" and it hit the Phantasm but it was unaffected.

"What are you doing, that was weak!"

"What? You say use it!"

"Of course, use it but don’t control it. You must feel the fire, be the fire but just don’t let it go out of control." Jasmine circle around the Phantasm and tried to conjure it again focusing.

"Spark’s fire," she cast as she let the sizzling ball go and this time, the fire completely destroy the Phantasm’s arm as it came in contact. The Phantasm screamed in horror when it knew its arm was destroy and tried to run away.

"Don’t let it get away," Chufue said pointing at the monster.

"O.k. Jasmine, this is it. Use the final spell to destroy it."

"Got it!" Jasmine closed her eyes, hovering on one spot as it feels the fire aura circling around her and the guardian Inferno’s symbol appear behind her as a magical circle appear at the bottom of her feet.

"Finalis spell," they said as she stood there focusing. The Phantasm was block by the aura and turned around to see Jasmine making symbols with her hands. The Phantasm blast its beam toward her but the aura created a barrier around her immediately and protected her from the blast. Finally, the aura got stronger as she opened her eyes and cast, "Flare Salamandra" and immediately, a dragon covered in flames came out behind her and circled around her. The dragon then stops and stared at her waiting for her orders. Jasmine points at the Phantasm, looks at the Salamandra and nodded her head once. The Salamandra roars and rages towards the Phantasm. It quickly wraps around the monster and roars at its face. The Phantasm couldn’t take the heat and was reduce to ashes.

She looks at the remains of the monster as they were separating from each other. Jasmine immediately falls down from the sky once they were they were back to their original forms. Meng saw this before hand and catches her to prevent her from falling. Jasmine looked at Meng with a warm feeling and he too look at her with a warm feeling but unfortunately Jasmine has to break the feeling. So she slaps him on the face. Meng looked away from her with a frown and drop her in midair. She screams as she was released from midair but Val catches her before she hit the ground. She looked at him in surprise as Val stared at her.

"Thanks," she said when Val straightens her up. Chufue flew up to her first and asked, "Are you o.k.?"

"Never better if Val hasn’t caught me." Meng hover down to where they are and Selena flew up to Jasmine.

"Are you alright?" Selena asked looking at Jasmine with her concerned eyes.

"I’m all right," she answered back. Selena turn to Meng and said, "Why did you dropped her, she could have been killed."

"Why should I care, she is the one who slap me after all."

"Well, you could me more of a gentlemen you know."

"Like I care, I don’t even want to know her. If she wasn’t here in the first place, we wouldn’t be in this much trouble."

"Silence, both of you," Chufue cuts in, "At least she’s all right."

"Yeah, no thanks to you," she whispered coldly to Meng.

"What did you say Terra?"

"Oh, nothing."

"Do that one more time and I’ll burn you," Meng said irritably. Selena opens her mouth but Val cuts between them, waving one hand at Selena to silence her.

"Look, at least she save us a lot of trouble trying to defeat that Phantasm alone." Meng look at Val with a fiery look but Val just stared at him with his cold icy blue eyes. Meng turn his back at them and started walking.

"Where are you going?" Chufue asked him.

"I’m going back to the village."

"If you’re going back, then tell the other guardians to wait at the storehouse."

"Fine," he said and flew away. Jasmine looked at them with empty eyes as Chufue and the rest changed back into their human form.

"Let’s go," he said once he knew that everybody was ready. They were walking until Jasmine asked, "Can anybody explained about what just happened here?"

"Don’t worry Jasmine. Once we are in the village, everything will be explained," Chufue answered her.

"But I want everything to be explained now!" Chufue looked at her then to Selena and Val which they both nodded their head in agreement.

"O.k. you want an explanation?"

"Yes."

"O.k. this is going to sound a little silly but you’re a fairy."

"Me, a fairy?"

"Yes, a fairy and the ultimate guardian called Former."

"Former?"

"Yes, a Former is the supreme guardian that can combine with other guardians to give birth to a new power. The power that is created is use to slay the evils of the fairy realm and banish them into the abyss. The guardian and the Former will be together until their energy aura has gotten or when the will of the two guardians is not strong enough. You and Inferno must have a strong will to be together."

"Yeah right! I hate him till death!" Chufue smiles and continues to walk on.

"Hey, but I still have more questions!"

"We’ll answer them when we get to the village." And so they continue to walk on as time went by.
