Do you sometimes wonder what to do with all of you digital photos? If you're like me you probably have them stored away on your computer's hard drive seldom to be seen by anyone. There is a fun and unique way to see them every day you can turn those simple 'photos' into a one-of-a-kind, customized digital photo calendar. Of course, everyone knows that not all of our photos will be perfect... But some will jump right out at you and remind you of certain times and 'warm feeling' experiences. Grab these images! You're about to put them into your own portfolio - and showcase them proudly to the world (or at least, to your 'inner circle' of family and friends!)

For an abundance of good reasons, it's great to share our family or 'good times' images with others. In fact, you're naturally inclined to want 'everyone' to see them... But how? And 'what's the best way to do this?'

One fun and yet practical way is through a simple digital photo calendar. Of course in this case we're not talking about literally an actual 'digital photo calendar' (even though it is one in its own right). In simple terms we are making an interesting and personalized wall calendar using your own digital photos. To put in simply, you can create a "photo calendar" that you can print out, give to your friends and family, hang on your wall, sell on your website, promote across the Internet the possibilities are endless.

So let's go ahead and actually build ourselves one of these cool little photo calendars. Here's what you do.

First up, you simply choose some of your favorite images. Then you need to do a little online exploring.. so what I've done is saved you some serious research time by listing a bunch of places where you can easily turn your digital photos into a photo calendar...

Here's a few websites that will make that transformation for you: www.bighugelabs.com, www.desktopwallpaperphotos.com, www.snapfish.com and www.cafepress.com. The first two sites listed will give you a free digital version of your calendar that you can download to your hard drive and then print out or save to a CD/take to a print shop. The others provide a 'real' wall or desk calendar that you can purchase and then 'send' to yourself, or a friend.

Actually... this is the real 'secret' behind getting your photos into a calendar... you just need to know where (as in, what web sites) to use. The rest of the process is reasonably straightforward. (Although you do need to have a fair idea of how to prepare your images before printing! Tip: Get someone to help you do this if it's going to be too challenging!)

Then just a few more simple steps...

1) Upload your photo/s to one of the photo calendar web sites above.

2) Pick a specific calendar size and other details

c) decide on a month and a year you want your calendar to have

d) then hit the 'create' button or order your own calendar...

Simple, eh? Once you've done all that then you'll have yourself an enjoyable photo calendar that you can then download onto your hard drive as a .PDF, or maybe a jpeg image file... Or, if you're 'outsourcing' the printing, you can expect to receive your calendar in a week or so... But overall, not too bad for a few minutes work!

Now you have your digital photo calendar ready to be seen by everyone. Impress your friends by printing it onto a card, sending it by e-mail, give them as gifts or enjoy it yourself just by hanging it on your wall. Each time you see it you will be reminded of special times from the past and every time friends and family see their calendar they will be touched by how much you cared to share those moments with them!
