Ebony Angel

I wrote this poem for my ex-bestfriend. She became so caught up in drinking and hurting her self with a girl that I hated and I wasn't good enough, only a secondary friend..
I've lost the battle again, the battle for you.
Ebony strands linger, while brown whirlpools haze my thoughts.
My heart aches yet my eyes remain dry.
Thought you were gone but here again.
Taking everything I have.
You stole the one thing I seeked and came along with a heart.
You drink and I live to think.
You take the razor across you're wrist and I clench my fist.
You've drank your pain away while mine nips at bay.
I've thought I've forgotten you but you cling like dew.
I miss your gentle laugh, the jokes you told, and just plain you.
Ebony Angel, I miss you so.
Ebony Angel, leave me go.
Ebony Angel, I'll always miss you.
Ebony Angel, I hope I haunt you.
Ebony Angel, just die now and let me rest in peace.
Let the bitter nip at my empty heart.
Let it continue to gray and become a dull shade of stone.
Let it continue to rot.
Ebony Angel.
