One way to cut down cost is by decreasing the amount of food that you waste. With some creativity, leftovers can be easily modified to take as a meal for work or school. For example, if you had prepared roasted chicken for dinner, the leftovers can be used the next day in a salad or as a sandwich filling. The bones of the chicken can be used for making broths or stock. This stock can be used in cooking soups and risottos. Homemade stocks are not only healthy but are also cheaper than the store brought ones.

Cut back on Processed Food
You must have noticed that prepackaged food comes with a higher price tag.
