Easy Paper Airplanes
Every one loves to make paper boats and airplanes as kids. If you haven't tried one, it's not too late! Take a look at some easy paper airplanes you can teach your kids or make some for yourself.

Making Easy Paper Airplanes
All you have to do to make paper airplanes is to fold one piece of paper in the correct manner and you have easy paper airplanes that fly well. Given below are some steps to make different kinds of easy paper airplanes.
Basic Airplane
This is the most easiest and well-known, of all the types of airplanes and is commonly known as the 'Basic Dart'.
- Take a rectangular piece of paper and fold it into half, vertically. Crease the paper very sharply such that you can see the crease, then unfold it.
- Fold the two top corners inwards to match at the center crease to make two small triangles.
- Now, make two more folds of the same triangles inwards again through the center of the crease to make two more triangles.
- Fold this structure in half and turn the plane 90 degrees to meet the extreme edges.
- Create a wing by folding one of the edges in the horizontal position outwards and then the second in the same manner.
- Bend the tailing edge of the wings from the top inwards to give it a better flight. This method can be used to make easy paper airplanes for kids.
This design is a little tough to make as it involves some complex folds but with proper assistance you can make a great glider.
- Like the first airplane, take a rectangular piece of paper and fold it in to half vertically to see the center crease.
- Fold the two tops to make the triangles as mentioned earlier and then fold the tip of this triangle downward to the center crease.
- Fold the left corner of the triangle to the center line and then fold the top flap to meet the left edge.
- Next, fold the top flap layer back in a half and then unfold the two top layers together.
- Repeat the 3rd and 4th steps for the right side and then fold the center triangular tip upwards.
- Fold this entire structure in half from the top and make the wings as made in the earlier airplane.
- Bend the trailing edges slightly upwards for a good flight and your super glider is ready to fly.
This design of easy paper airplanes is very similar to the Basic Dart with respect to its initial steps.
- Follow the 1st two-fold steps of the Basic Dart and then unfold all the folds to see the creases.
- Fold the left corner so as to meet a point along a 90º angle.
- Fold the right flap to the left using the center crease and do the same with the left flap along the center crease.
- Repeat the same for the other corner and then fold the entire structure inwards.
- Make the two wing structures as mentioned in the earlier methods and use the center triangle to show a cockpit by folding it downwards. Flatten it and then pick it up again to make it more realistic.
