We rarely care to pause and question these mundane things that control our lives. An apple must have fallen on hundred other people before it fell on Newton. But none of these people objected to the way it fell on their heads! Look for an Inspiration
Some of the most useful inventions of the world were inspired by little things in everyday life. If you look around you, you will find hundreds of different jobs that are still running traditionally. For instance, you could make a small hand held battery operated fan for your mother to let her dry her nail polish. Or you can make a small suction pump which can be used to clean kitchen sink pipes and similar other things. You can also make your own thermos flasks from plastic water bottles and a thermal material. Ever thought how to pluck mangoes from a tree without climbing on it? Take a large rod and attach a long, sharp blade to its end, at an angle. Tie a jute bag around the blade to collect mangoes. Improvise Existing Things
If you look around, you will find several things that could function better with a little improvisation. For instance, you may have found yourself groping in the dark to find a flashlight during a camping trip. If you could just stick radium stickers to your flashlight, you can spot it in pitch dark. Similarly, you can also think about the ways to keep water off your glasses in rains.
