Easy Hair Updos
Managing hair on a bad hair day is quite a task. Read on to know how to make easy hair updos in minutes, to save yourself all the misery!

For Medium Hair
Medium hair can be straight or curly. For the quintessential bohemian look, soft curls on your hair would look perfect. Begin with shampooing your hair and conditioning them. Towel dry your hair and apply a bit of styling gel or foam. Blow dry your hair a little, so that it gets the needed volume. Now twirl your hair around hot rollers and create as much curls as possible. Once the rollers cool down, lightly brush through your hair and hold them up. Tie them into a pony tail and with the remaining hair hanging loose, pin them up loosely with bobby pins. The loose locks on your neckline, will give you the perfect casual look.
For Long Hair
In my honest opinion, long hair looks the best when let loose. However, if you want to tie them up, a French bun, is an ideal hair updo. To make a French bun, first thoroughly comb your hair and remove all the tangles. This will smoothen all the snarls and give your hair a soft look. Next, pull your hair together and tie a ponytail at an appropriate height. Usually, it is above the nape of your neck, so tie the ponytail higher. Now, begin coiling the hair, around the ponytail. You may have to use a few bobby pins to hold your hair, if your hair is cut in layers. Once the coiling is completed, tuck the ends of your hair underneath the ponytail and secure it with a hair pin. This is more of a formal hairstyle for office wear, so make sure your dress compliments it too.
For Short Hair
Short hair is slightly difficult to manage for an updo, because it barely fits in your hands. For a short hair updo, you may need some help. Begin with shampooing and conditioning your hair. Towel dry them and apply a little bit of styling gel to hold them in place. Prevent blow drying, as it will add volume and worsen your problem. Tie your hair in a pony tail at very low level. If your hair is cut in layers, they will come out from places, so secure them with a hair band. Pin up the ponytail inwards at the end, so that it resembles a bun.
Never try to experiment with a hairstyle at the last minute. Accessorizing your hairstyle is your choice, but keep it minimal if it's a formal occasion. Lastly, always run a patch test for the hairstyling products before you use them, so that you know how they react.
