Easy Guess???!!!

There was loud thunder and blinding light.
The lightening streaks could snatch the sight?
All signs and signals of a heavy downpour....
These indications happened at the stroke of four.

Intuitive wee hours could see the worst nightmare.
What was going to come, they didn't dare to share.
They wanted to ring the red alert and wake the humanity.
Whatever they can, they wanted to, to avert the calamity.

Their minutes and seconds tried waking the sun.
Out of tension and anxiety, it went cooler than the moon?
Its rays refused to come out of their hiding place.
Pathetic was the look on helpless sun's face.

Fingers crossed, those hours were awaiting that wicked devil.
For the atrocities meted out, the nature is going to charge her bill.
The cyclonic storm hit with immense strength.
Heavy stones structures felled like a block of plinth!

The ferocious wind's enormous force could slide an elephant!
Such was its strength leaving everyone to pant!
The stormy weather took everyone by surprise (or shock?).
Little did they know that they are paying a huge price? (Or penalty?)

Felling trees and baring the forests took its toll.
Sudden fire in the woods had its own share and role.
Diminishing greenery made ecology furious.
Its imbalance was not taken anywhere serious?

This disaster was to come at some time or other.
Global warming too was to attack the planet's weather.
No Nostradamus was needed to predict this?
This was just a trailer of "calamities to come" was an easy guess?!
