Easy Baseball Party

Take me out to the ball game. That famous saying can typify baseball and can be used to invite your guests to your baseball party. The baseball party can be great for all ages, all occasions and lots of venues. There is a huge amount of interest in baseball in many countries and that helps provide lots of equipment, clothing and memorabilia to help create a fantastic party. I previously thought baseball was a really all about the American and Canadian leagues, however any travelling to Japan will be hugely impressed by their baseball. Baseball also has the advantage in being quite simple to prepare for and also it can help new people to the game understand what is going on.

With any party you wish your guests to have a great time. In particular you wish the guest of honor to love the party and for the theme, food, music guests to be excellent for them. In a way the theme reflects who the guest of honor is and what they like. If they are a big baseball fan then this is the perfect theme. If they are general sports fans then they are sure to love a baseball party. Even the other guests should be able to get into the spirit of the party and love the occasion. Given that it is quite simple to borrow, hire and buy lots of baseball equipment and costume then it will be easy for guests to prepare for the party.

The venue can help. Although it is quite simple to have a baseball party at home where you can create a real baseball hall of fame. It is perhaps better if you can have a party at a park, baseball stadium, indoor baseball practice area or even at a beach. This way the focus of the party can be about playing baseball, enjoying the game and perhaps having a real sense of competition. This would let the baseball enthusiasts indulge in their favorite game. If the party is at your home it can be a wonderful celebration of baseball. If it is a graduation party or birthday party the it can be a tribute to the graduate and also a celebration of baseball.

For our kindergarten kids the teaching staff and parents wanted to have an outdoor party to help the kids celebrate graduation and also to have a healthy outdoor pursuit. The idea was to have an outdoor graduation ceremony, change the kids and have the baseball party right away. With the help of a specialist kids coach we set up a baseball field and made it the right size for the kids to play. The coach also helped the kids with batting and pitching practice and ran the games. We borrowed equipment and clothing from a local kids baseball team. The baseball was brilliant to do with the kids getting caught up in the game. When they were not playing they were cheering a making a lot of noise. However just in case some of the kids were bored sitting out we had additional batting practice, baseball coloring in and pens and some other activities for them to choose. The food was sandwiches, boxes of raisins, chips, lots of fruit, water and some vegetable dips. The favor bags had a baseball, a hat, candy, coloring in and some pens. Since the weather was beautiful the kids baseball party was just perfect.
