Eager Love

A girl breaks out of her shell to fling her crush...
Lisa breathed in the crisp salt air. Its sweet demure always surprised her. The shore line still felt like a chilling winter even though it was February. It’s Valentine’s. She hummed in her brain. Maybe I’ll finally tell Max I like him…

His name was Max right? She really only over heard it in one of the dozen of conversations he had around her. (She never had the guts to ask him herself.) She liked him a lot; apparently right? Still she only knew him from the subway station she had to ride every morning. It finally paid off; ridding that horrid train; not only did she meet him but she sees him a lot. He had a little boy face and still was impressively tall. His chestnut hair was easy to spot in crowds and he dressed nice. (Which is odd for most guys our age.) Mostly she loved that good feeling he let off. It’s a huge risk to tell him…

Still she went to do what she’s never done to get what she’s never had. That was a quote from her passed father. She wouldn’t be reminded by him, not now with such instant passion, she wouldn’t. I will speak with Max at the least. Her determination never faltered. The wore door slide open. Eagerness zoned through her.
He wasn’t there…
