Dummies Guide to Preventing Wrinkles

Wrinkles WILL surface on your skin at one point in life or another. Don't be the person who gets them at age thirty. Be the person who fends them off until the late 70's with these anti-wrinkle tips.
This guide is for "Dummies" because this is some basic information. However, you will look like a genius if you just follow these tips and practice them like verbatim. Wrinkle prevention is an easy thing, but you need to know some basics. Here are some tips for everyone out there who never got the luxury of a skin care education.

1. Don't smoke. Smoking is a big cause of wrinkles. Smoking isn't healthy any any light you look at it, but it is extremely bad for you if you want to prevent wrinkles. Not only do the ingredients like tobacco have a negative effect on your skin, but the habitual facial expressions are also a cause of wrinkles. Obviously, when you smoke you are habitually contracting the muscles around your mouth and giving wrinkles an opportunity to form. Bottom line, avoid smoking at all costs.

2. Use sunblock. We are all exposed to the sun, it's just a matter of how much sun we are exposed to. The sun is a nasty influence on our skin as we age, and is a huge cause of wrinkles. You can fight these wrinkles if you use sunblock. I don't mean use sunblock when you go to the beach, I mean use sunblock daily. Use it as part of your daily routine, and use it like you use hair gel. This may sound corny, but if you do it, you wil thank me years later.

3. Avoid squinting. This not only is bad for your eyes, but like smoking, it is a habitual action that causes wrinkles. If you wear sunglasses, this can help you avoid squinting. So can a hat and any other component that creates shade around your eyes and protects them so you don't squint. You can also take things to another level by sleeping on your back. Believe it or not, you squint when you hold your pillow and fall asleep on your face. You can avoid this (although I can't) by sleeping on your back.

Those are three easy tips, and they are very general. However, as I stated earlier, if you follow them you will be better off and be able to prevent wrinkles for a very long time.

When you do start seeing wrinkles, apply an anti wrinkle cream. You will be very happy with the results you see and happy to see that you CAN reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
