Dubai Fashion Event

Since 2003, Dubai Shopping Fashion Event is not to be missed. The organizers are working to make this a global event and to make Dubai the new fashion destination. After Paris, New York or London, Dubai is hoping it would become the new place where the great couturiers will fight to present their collection.

For its fifth season, thirty designers and creators, the majority coming from the Middle East, will present their collections Autumn / Winter 2009. The Dubai Fashion Week aims once again to establish the emirate city in the world of fashion, like the Dubai Shopping Fashion held from February 9 to 11. The Dubai Shopping Fashion has become the event of the season in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). For three days, the new fashion trends of the largest fashion houses of luxury were presented in the sumptuous ballroom of the Madinat Arena, complex built around a lagoon. The festivities were opened by the American chain of department stores Saks Fifth Avenue.

The audience was captivated by competing collections of freshness. Three days of parades that delighted the designers and filled them with enthusiasm. Since the Dubai Fashion operation was launched at the initiative of the Dubai Shopping Festival Office in 2003, the organizers do everything possible to make Dubai Fashion a platform for fashion designers, for them to showcase their new collections. This event has gained popularity and became an event not only regional but also international.
