Dry Nail Polish
Are you looking for ways to dry your nail polish quickly? Read on to find some innovative ways and also for some useful tips on applying nail polish.

Tips on Applying Nail Polish
How quickly you will be able to nail polish, depends a great deal on the way you apply a coat of polish on your nail. Ideally, you should apply two coats of a nail paint on your nail. The second coat is usually applied to give the nail an even look. However, the mistake most women make is that they apply thick coats of nail polish, both the times. This should be avoided as two thick layers will take a lot of time to dry. So, in order to dry nails fast, always apply thin coats of polish.
Another thing that should be kept in mind, post application, is to apply a coat of fast-drying, transparent nail polish, on top of the polish. These fast drying transparent polishes contain ingredients such as mineral oil, which not only help in protecting the nail polish from getting chipped, but also aid in nail care. These clear polishes make the nail polish dry out quickly too.
Methods to Dry Nail Polish Quickly
Use a Fan
Keep your hands in front of the fan. Although it may take some time before the nail polish will be fully dry, this method is the cheapest and requires nothing but a little extra time.
Blow Dry
Use a blow dryer, and direct its air towards your nails. Remember to set the blow dryer to the minimum while drying the nails. It would take about two minutes for the nail polish to become completely dry, when using a blow dryer.
Chilled Water
Another quick method is to soak your nails in chilled water for about one minute after applying nail polish to them. Simply keep a bowl of water in the freezer of your refrigerator for about fifteen minutes. In the meantime, apply nail polish to your nails. Take out the bowl of water and dip your freshly painted nails in it. The chilled water will help in setting the nail paint on the nails, thus drying them quickly in the process.
Nail Sprays
Fast-drying nail sprays, which are available in many beauty stores these days, are also used to dry the nail polish quickly. After applying, spray the nails with the nail spray in such a way that an even, thin layer is formed. Keep the nail spray bottle slightly away from the nails while spraying as keeping the bottle too close can sometimes chip the nail polish.
However, if you do not have the time or the patience for the above mentioned methods, a good alternative for you would be to use dry nail polish strips instead of the regular nail polish. These dry enamel strips usually come in a set of sixteen. They simply need to be stuck to the natural nails and after wards shaped in accordance with the length and width of the natural nail. These strips can be easily applied at home so you do not even need to go to the parlor. Also, these strips usually last for a fortnight, thus, unlike nail polish, they do not need to be applied over and over again.
