Drowning Dreams

Poems that I wrote about my friend but kind of turned into a drowning scene. Its kind of supposed to be interpretation of her being drowned by her problems and know one is helping her but ya..
The worst is yet to come
This is only the waking
To something disastrous
It’s only in the making

You better watch out
Before that tidal wave comes crashing down
Steady now
You don’t want to drown

The blue is becoming black
You’re slowly slipping awaayyy
Where am I?
What day?

Your memories blanking
Your heart barely beating
Are you dead?
Your lungs aren’t quite breathing

The bleeding won’t stop
They don’t really care
You’re floating away
And they just stop and stare

No arm is thrown out
You hear no sound
You’re going deeper and deeper
Until you hit the ground

Your eyes flutter open
And you can finally scream
You let one rip, and then you see
It was all just a drreeeaaammmm...
