Dream On - Introduction
Come people... take a chance, don't only fall in love, but dream on!

Vanessa's wedding, and she's my sister. I saw her dance with Leon, kiss him and laugh with him. True, I had never seen her this happy.
But love, hmm... I thought as I looked at the guy named Sam who had been staring at me throughout the wedding. There was no such thing.
Vanessa and Leon did feel for each other, maybe they were an exception. As I looked aroundm I saw aunt Lucy coldly saying hello to her ex-husband...who by the way cheated on her only a month after they got married. My friend Lizzy, always disappointed in love. And Ve's friends... Jess and Jaiden... they had a fight. I smiled and shook my head.
Yeah... they would never be as happy as me, I thought. That's because I have no such inclination towards love.
Hey... I am Ashley, I work at a fashion magazine. Non smoker, non drinker, very decent and not at all a fool for love. And the unique thing? I love me.
Vanessa came over to me . "Hey sis... I told her. Congrats on you having the time of your life."
Vanessa smiled, "Thanks Ash...but you look like you would want to get out of here any second."
"Ah well...I wanted to purchase that handbag at Gucci's". Ve sighed.
#"Sweetheart.. will you ever learn.,.. Love is a beautiful thing", she tried to knock some sense into my head about all that love crap. But please... I am so not interested.
"Sure it is... enjoy it whilst its alive."
Her smile faded and she left. I didn't want to hurt my sister, we both loved each other to pieces and we both had the same likes and dislikes. We both thought that Leon was a great guy, but we widely differed on our viewpoints on love.
We looked a bit alike too... we both had black hair, we were slim but curvy, with infectious smiles. Guys swooned over us... and we reveled in it.
I did have a lot of fun though, even without ever having a boyfriend, I had so many friends and I was going to marry the person my mom and dad found for me... not some random loser.
That Sam was still checking me out... I did the same. He was average looking, a cook, ordinary - not at all like a guy I would ever want to be with. Why not have a little fun though , I thought... I still had to stay here for sometime. I smiled back at him and he took pride in it. Silently I laughed., poor guy... he doesn't even know this is as far as it gets.
I smiled my best smile, and he gasped. That's right I thought, Ashley charm.
Dream on big guy... dream on!
