A Dream Of One

My friend did something and she is ashamed of it. This is what I feel…
As I cut my arms and hands
I look into the abyss of your pupils
Your lips have yet to move
Though I know what you are saying
'Stop! It wont solve anything'
I put the sharp metal down
How could this be?
You know my intentions and
Yet you stop me
I reach for it again, my body
Wont stop shaking, I’m nervous
For my life to come to an end
And he waits for her to pick it up again
The last cut is all she needs to finally be happy.
She picks up the metal and....
She is happy
And her heart stops in time and he will miss her he does
What she did and
He is happy
