Dream Big, Dream Bright

Dreams are the window to the soul,
It isn't just our eyes,
The light of the dream tells us,
What is truth, what is lies.

Nobody ever dreams of nothing,
No matter what they say,
They either don't remember or don't want to tell,
If they don't remember, then it's not important enough to stay.

But if they don't tell you,
It could be bad,
It could be a terrible doom predicted,
Or just something personal and sad.

But don't linger on others,
Dream your own dreams,
It's a place of freedom,
Where everything you usually keep locked up can fall out the seams.

You can have anything,
You can see anything,
You can go anywhere,
You can be anything.

Don't listen to what other people say about dreams,
Don't let them deceive you,
No matter how much they scowl,
They probably believe you.

But if they don't seem trustworthy,
Don't open your mouth,
You must be very careful,
And it's better to keep it to yourself.

No matter what though,
You must dream big, and bright,
Don't waste your time,
Use the coverage of the night.
