Dream Baby

I had a dream I had a baby growing inside of me
My tummy expanded like a never ending sea

And then something happened I dreamed I felt a kick
And that was worth every time I was sick

I dreamed I had a baby nestled in my arms
Who's tiny head could fit in my palms

I dreamed of that baby holding me tight
While I sung to her all through the night

I dreamed of a baby and that she saved my soul
And it was because of that baby that I finally felt whole

But I have to wait for that baby another 10 years or so
Cos then I know where my life will go

And when that bay comes she will have everything she needs
To the universe she will be my one good deed
