Chapter 4

"Hey buddy," I heard Dom talking in a very casual way to Trent.

All of them started talking, as I zoned out. Driving for about twenty minutes we pulled in to a free parking space at "Arts & Crafts". I was a little confused, as to, why are we here? Don't get me wrong I love this place; it's where I get all of my supplies for my own personal art. At one point I even conned my mum and dad into making the guest room my art room. It was covered in paint, sketches, canvases, and easels, everything I needed for my art room.

"What are we doing here?" I questioned them.

"Getting supplies," Ryan stated rather obviously.

"I have enough stuff at home to do this project?"

"Nah, Dom and me, well we thought we would get you whatever you want, and before you say no, look at my car and if you saw our houses you probably would agree that we have way too much money lying around, so go and buy whatever," Ryan smiled.

"Whaaaa... thanks but you don't have to do that," I was so stunned by the offer.

"No, it okay, both of us have so much money, so if we get you this and you teach us about art, were even," Dom said half distracted by his arm wrestle with Trend who was cheating and using two hands, but Dom's arm wouldn't budge.

"Okay I'll teach you," I was so excited to get knew supplies, I have resulted in mixing paints to get certain colors, but I still had enough to get through this assignment, but what the hell, they were getting me knew stuff, I was ecstatic.

"Awesome," they spoke at the same time.

"Well, if you're buying, me, stuff let's go get it," I laughed and walked in the electric doors with the three boys following, "You guys wanna grab a trolley?"

I laughed when Dom got one and leaned on the handle, his elbows resting on the trolley itself, "Hey, Ro, Ro, sit in it and I'll push you," he smiled a sneaky smile.

"Cool," I laughed, climbing into the trolley, "Trent you wanna," come in to?"

"I'll give you a piggy back?" Ryan smiled.

"Yeah," he jumped onto Ryan's back as he bent down, so Trent could reach.

"Alright, where first?" Dom asked.

"Paint."

"And which direction might that be in?"

"It's right there," I laughed, it was right in front of us.

"Oh, right, just testing you."

I heard Trent whispering to Ryan, I didn't understand what he was actually saying but I caught a few words, "Tarot Deck," "Charcoal" and "Canvas." I knew that the Tarot Deck was something my grandmother gave me before she died, and that I've been learning how to use them. The Charcoal was something I used all the time, and was my favorite thing to use, but I had run out a while ago. The Canvases is something I have none of anymore I've used them all.

"What colors?" I asked.

"Every single one you want," Dom said in my ear.

"Okay, I need lots of black and the rest is just the rainbow," I looked up at Dom and smiled.

"Hey, Ryan, you want to get another trolley?" Dom asked him.

"Sure thing," Ryan was laughing at something Trent had said, then Ryan went off to get another trolley with Trent still on his back.

Dom started loading paint into the trolley, I could see his arms flex every time he would lean into the trolley to put the paint down. I was sitting up against the back, so where the handle was, I was leaning against that part.

He had gotten all of the colors that I would ever need, although the paints were in two liters, Dom got 4 tins of green, blue, red and white, and all the rest had two tins. The tins filled the whole trolley, so I had to get out. We walked down the isle to the black paint, with no words to break the silence. Dom got six tins of four liter, black paint.

I looked at him questionably.

"What?"

"Why so much black and those certain colors?"

"Well, I've seen you work at school, it always has black and then one other color, those are what you use most and the rest I've seen a few times, now you won't run out," I was shocked that he notices my art, "You're extremely good you know that?"

"Well, that's true about the colors I never knew anybody actually noticed and I've seemed to just pass in art class," I frowned.

"That's because she's a bitch, and hates everyone," he sighed, "But your work is seriously amazing!"

"Thanks," I couldn't help but smile, "I've never seen yours though, and when we get to my house can I see your art book for class?"

"Only if you get everything you want from here," he smiled and put his muscled arm around my shoulders, I leaned into him naturally.

"Trent, how much do we get?" I heard Ryan in the next isle over.

"Um, I don't know, she loves this stuff," Trent answered back, I looked at Dom with a confused expression.

"Well then, let's go see what they're doing," Dom started pushing the trolley with me still nestled under his warm arm, we didn't get far before we slowly strolled past on old lady.

"You two are a divine couple, I hope the baby is just as beautiful as you two are," she was a fragile looking lady, wrinkles covered her arms and face, she had a very musical voice like she was a singer when she was younger, wearing a baby blue long jacket and white blouse and gray long pants.

"Thank you," Dom smiled and kissed my cheek, I caught on and smiled a thank you, "Well have a nice afternoon," Dom smiled politely and we started walking off again.

"She called me pregnant! I'm don't look pregnant," I huffed as soon as we were out of hearing range.

"It's okay darling, the baby will be beautiful," he teased.

"Come on funny guy; let's get Trent and Ryan, before they hurt themselves."

We turned the corner and I saw two more trolleys full, one had canvases, just packed with canvases, all different shapes and sizes. The other had professional sketch pads or art books layering the bottom there was about forty. On top of that was all different types of paint brushes, drawing pencils, there was so much stuff, but this trolley wasn't full only half. They hadn't noticed us yet and were bickering about charcoal.

"Let's just get all of it?" Ryan said to Trent, who nodded in agreement. We got closer, their backs were to us, so they didn't notice.

I could finally see what they were going, there was a whole shelf of charcoal that they were putting into the trolley. Ryan would just grab an arm full and Trent would get maybe five or six and place them in, it was soon at the top and there was no more charcoal on the shelves.

"I shrugged Dom's arm off my shoulder, when I did I got goose bumps from being so warm to emerging into air-conditioning, I strolled up to them, "Oh My God, do you know how expensive this stuff is?"

"Well you're going to teach me and Ryan so this is your payment," Dom had come up behind me.

"Okay, let's go then," I was just shocked at how much they were getting for me.

We all walked to the checkout, it took ages and two-thousand dollars to go through. We then loaded the car, everything didn't all fit in the back, so we put it in the backseat and under Dom and Trent's feet, along with at my feet and I was holding a bag stuffed full with canvases.
