Dr. Lane Bravo's Lectures on Cyntmort
Listen in on one of Dr. Bravo's lectures on the most important events in the history of the galaxy.
Lecture 1
Hello,
My name is Dr. Lane Bravo. I am the director of the Galaxy Program of the North American Space Headquarters (N.A.S.H.). It is our objective to record the most important events in the history of the Milky Way. The project is well under way and you can read about my most recent historical record through Jb publishing. They have recently uploaded my lecture transcripts concerning the history of Bervin "The Blue" of the planet Kelner To many of the Platforms available on the internet. The record I am presenting to you now is the history of Cyntmort of the planet Torrel, and it will be offered exclusively to members of the Buzzle Community. Because the Galaxy Program is strictly regulated in its use of the time traveling Light-Surfers, I am not able to come in direct contact with the people I am studying. I must piece their history together through interviews, historical record, journal’s and diaries, and sometimes legend. It is our foremost task to record the most accurate history possible and the Light-Surfer’s allow for that.
So anyway, as I said, I am Dr. Lane Bravo, and this is my lecture series on Cyntmort of the Planet Torrel. Cyntmort’s history was deemed significant because her actions led to the first and only known planned destruction of a star. As I delved into this history, I was fascinated by this woman. She was the princess of Torrel, until a faction of people at odds with the government kidnapped her. She was kidnapped just before she turned four. As I have come to understand a man and woman who were very kind to her, but never let her know of her identity raised her. Their names were Zur and Cynti. Cynti was the mother. They died during a raid on their hide out. As her history unfolds, I hope you’ll come to appreciate it is not just the remarkable historical events her actions lead to, but also her remarkable persona that is noteworthy and worth studying…at least in my opinion. But anyway…
Cyntmort’s real parents were King Daneort and Queen Brall. Cyntmort’s biological brother Daneall was born just weeks after Cyntmort was kidnapped. They obviously had never met until her secret identity was discovered.
(Bravo) "Um…yes a question?"
(Student) "Yes Doctor, was Cyntmort her real name?"
(Bravo) "Good question Danny is it."
(Student) "Yes"
(Bravo) "It is not her given name, but it is the name she kept when she became Queen of Torrel. Her given name was Brallcynt. Obviously Zur and Cynti changed it after she was kidnapped from the palace."
Destroying a star is, of course, the reason why I recorded her history, but Cyntmort did so much more. She united the factions opposing the King and Queen and then ruled them as Queen. She led men to battle, and performed surgery on the injured. She invented, discovered and created. She was the author of fiction, poetry, and scientific and social thesis. As you can tell, Cyntmort impressed me. I would guess you’d like to know when this event happened. The Star know named SG32 here on Earth, named Targa on the planet Torrel, was destroyed over 3000 years ago. 3012 to be exact.
So anyway, you’ll have to forgive me, I’m used to one-hour lectures, It will take some getting used to this thirty-minute format. I tend to babble, as you will see. Tomorrow we will get started on Torrel. It is yet another example of life being more persistent than its surroundings, and I think you’ll find it neat.
