*** I flipped on my light and saw a woman's shadow run across my wall.... I immediately grabbed the metal bat lying beside my bed and began to walk around the corner until I heard my front door close. When I looked out the window all that was left was a shadow running away from my house. Freaked out I had a quick shower and got dressed for 'work'. The Casino Royal waitresses had to wear these ridiculously small outfits. Black mini-skirts designed with playing card running around the base of it, fish net leggings, and a strapless red top with playing cards coming out the top and a black string tying the V-neck together. For me this was advertising something that was not for sale. Getting various whacks on the butt by drunken men wasn't fun either; however, I promised the captain that I would chase the White Rabbit where ever he went, even if it meant wearing this ridiculous outfit.

**Nothing really changed at Casino Royal since yesterday, except for the people that is. There were some people that were here again, but most of them were new. A woman waved me down from behind the Hearts machine.
"Oh, hello, Mrs. Logan! What can I get for you?" I said using my English accent quite well, if I might add.
"The same as yesterday," Of course she was in her normal ticked off mood. I still don't understand why she only calls me over. I best stay away from her. Maybe I can introduce her to Michelle. I did just that instead of me coming back with her drink Michelle did and the Lisa was perfectly happy when asking her to only let me bring her drinks. Michelle agreed to Lis- er, Mrs. Logan's requests, and I had to deliver her a new Strawberry Daiquiri.
"Here you are." I smiled. She just looked at me nodded her head and paid for her drink. Before she left that day she gave me a coin for the 'high stakes/no wins' machine as a tip. I was debating on whether or not to spend it; eventually I decided I would. When my shift was over a few minutes later I put the coin into the oversized machine and pulled down the handle. The odd symbols spun by on the five wheels and stopped one at a time... After the first two stopped on the same shape I began packing my things thinking there was no way they would keep matching up. Sure enough the third and fourth one rolled around the same and I was locked in place with excitement. Would I find the White Rabbit? Was this 'rumor' really the truth? The fifth one stopped and the bells rang. One of the Rabbit's most trusted employees stared at me with a blank/shocked face. He began to walk toward me once all the people cleared away. I was pulling the cash ticket from the machine when he spoke. His voice was soothing, and it pulled at me telling me he was 'safe' to be with. "Hello, Alice. Would you like to come with me?"

"Um, sure." I was completely disregarding the rules when I left alone with one of the Rabbit's most trusted people. He led me into a dark room, kind of like the one at the headquarters. I acted as if I had never been in a questioning room before.
"Have a seat." He told me. I could hardly see a thing, I don't know how he walked around with his dark shades on. I threw myself on the floor, just missing the chair.
"Ow."
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah, sorry. Where is the chair."
"Right here." He put the chair right behind me and made sure I actually got in it this time.
"Thanks." I kept myself as busy as I could while I waited, what felt like hours, for someone to question me. Someone else sat at the end of the table. I knew it was someone different because the man I followed down here sat next to me. Another man spoke, his voice not as relaxing as the first. "You must be one-hundred percent honest on all the questions we answer."
"Ok" I said in a questioning voice being sure they didn't catch me. They asked simple questions like 'is your name Clare McCade' and 'Are you really 21." and so on. They decided they would move me on to where the White Rabbit was. They informed me of this and blindfolded me. The first man kept his arm tightly around my waist as he led me to the car, I guess I didn't quite mind this. He was not much older than I was... maybe two years. Ah, well these guys were almost my enemies. I couldn't go thinking about dating any of them. I kept my mind focused and I sooner than I realized I was out of the van and standing in front of the White Rabbit himself.

*** The man I was presented to had long gray hair that was tied up in two rubber bands... one on either side. He was wearing nice clothes and he had a gold chain hanging from his pocket. "Hello." I said politely. He had some of his trustees search me to check of anything dangerous. Of course, they were all over checking a girl in hardly any clothes. One of them pulled a coin from my pocket. I had no idea it was there, it didn't even look like money.
"Sir." One of them said with a shocked face. "Do you think the que -"
"Silence." He corrected. "Now, Clare, I know that's not your real name."
"Yes it is."
"Fine." The Rabbit snapped. "We'll see if you're worthy enough to join my side. I'll put you through a little test...." He pulled a lever moving the floor beneath my feet, I tried to move, but before I knew it I was plummeting through a dark hole with no end.
