Don't Just Plan - Get Organized!

Being a coach, I meet people that tell me they have lots of plans yet don’t ever make any of them happen.

The planning skill of each individual varies. There are individuals who can plan instantly and some who take more time to think plans through. Many people feel that planning takes too much time and this stops them from even starting!

However Planning and Organizing can make you successful.

What stops a lot of people from moving from planning to success is organization, structure and procedure. They don't know how to move from plan to action.

Organizing is as important as planning. The moment you make plans, it is essential that you organize the plan in a manner that can make you achieve it easily.

One man I happened to meet was very, very creative. He was a good businessman, and an internet marketer who was quite successful. Having both a business mind and an internet marketing mind he was always thinking of new ideas and products and services he could create and bring to the market.

When I first talked to him I was deeply amazed at how creative he was. The truth is that, he would make more plans for his business than any CEO I have met. Rather than thinking of just one business he had about 30 business ideas being planned.

I thought this guy is truly amazing and is destined for great things.

We had a chance meeting about 12 months later, however he was still in the same economic place he had been when we first met. I wondered for a while why this was and then the answer came to when I observed his lifestyle. He was always thinking. He was always planning. However he never organized those plans! He showed me a list of all his plans, creative plans, and there were many. What I did not see was any plan of action.

I realized that what he lacked is the time for organizing those ideas and planning on achieving them one at a time. Believe me, you can never be successful if you are deeply confused about the plans you have.

If you have creative business ideas, apply them one at a time. In case you have several, then I guess it is time for you to choose the one thing you value most. Then apply!
