Don't Expect Life Abundance Until You Establish Your Life Purpose

When seeking abundance in life, are we not really searching for a feeling of purpose, bountifulness and prosperity rather than for material needs? Learn how to achieve inner peace, abundance, and a sense of purpose in your life.
What is abundance?

Dictionary.com describes it as "a great or plentiful amount". I feel that's a nice launching point. I feel you should start to ask yourself, "What is it that I want prosperity in?".

A lot of people connect this idea of being fulfilled to financial concerns. While this is an important area, all aspects of your life can give you a feeling of having "a great or plentiful amount". Which leads me to a thought.

To me, searching for prosperity in my life is a quest for a feeling. Isn't there a feeling you get when you feel fulfilled? When you come to a new realization in your spiritual life, you feel prosperous inside. You have a sense of fulfillment. You feel inner peace. When you maintain your financial matters correctly and everything is taken care of, you feel that inner peace.

Is that not how you experience these circumstances? It is for me. This is true when I take care of my health and I exercise. Or when I invest time to shut off the TV and read in order to realize something new. I'm bettering my mind and I realize that abundance. I feel the stillness and peace within myself.

So, to me, although the definition of abundance seems to speak of amassing or having something, it's not those "things" that I want, it's that "feeling".

Can you relate to this? Are you tired of feeling a little bit empty, a little lost, a bit out of touch with yourself and what makes you, you? If so, I think it's time you slow things down a little and start to go more within yourself to find the answers.

It wasn't until I began to do this that I saw what was truly substantial to me. When you search for life abundance and that feeling of inner tranquility, it helps you to negate all the stuff the media, television, or family have influenced you with since you began your life journey.

You realize how to sift through all this clutter and get to the bottom of what makes you fulfilled. You start to see who your true being is and what you need.

Does this mean that you'll solve all your "issues" overnight? Of course not!
But inner peace moments come more often. More moments where you sense, "You know, my life is fulfilling in so many areas." And as time goes on, you learn to piece more moments like these together and those moments last longer.

Basically, I think that's what we're all here to do. You and I are here to find out how to figure ourselves out until we live a fulfilled life of tranquility. A life where we know deep within ourselves that we just "fit" whatever life circumstances we've put together for ourselves.

If the key to you living a life of abundance is understanding yourself better, are you prepared to start digging? Are you willing to face the questions within that restrain you from financial, emotional, physical or spiritual abundance?

I believe it takes some time, a little work (on yourself) to achieve the "whole", abundant life you're searching for. We live in a "fix me now" or "give it all to me now" universe. But you're unique. What might be easy for you is hard for other people and vice versa.

It's true that some challenges can be fixed instantly by just deciding to change. But I urge you to be patient with yourself. Allow yourself the time to permit change to come to you naturally.

Many of your challenges can be traced to the "fight" between the conscious and subconscious aspects of yourself. You must discipline your conscious mind to mellow out in order for you to get in touch with the deeper "you". This deeper "you" will educate you on your life purpose and enable prosperity to flow into your life in all the vital areas.

Take the time to explore within, establish your purpose in life, and understand how much your thoughts either stop you from living a life of abundance or help you find real inner peace.
