Donald Trump V. Rosie O’Donnell

The fight between Trump and O’Donnell began on Wednesday after O’Donnell criticized Trump’s decision to allow Miss USA Tara Conner to keep her crown. O’Donnell said she was annoyed "on a multitude of levels" over the fact that Trump gave Conner a "second chance." O’Donnell asked, "He’s the moral authority?" She went on to say, "Left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair. Had kids both times, but he’s the moral compass for 20-year olds in America. Donald, sit and spin, my friend." She also went on to say Trump went bankrupt and used his father’s money to dig himself out of a hole. She said, "This is not a self-made man" and likened him to a "snake-oil salesman."

Trump responded by saying, "This woman is totally out of control." He went on to say he was going to sue O’Donnell. Said Trump, "You can’t make false statements. Rosie will rue the words she said. I’ll most likely sue her for making those false statements – and it’ll be fun. Rosie’s a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie." Trump believes that O’Donnell’s tirade against him is personal because he once "sarcastically chastised" her about her "failed magazine" and "failed talk show." O’Donnell made it abundantly clear that she "doesn’t enjoy him."

The View executive producers Bill Geddie and Barbara Walters released a statement on Wednesday supporting both O’Donnell and Trump. The statement read, "Both Rosie and Donald are high-spirited, opinionated people. Donald has been a friend of The View for many years and Rosie, of course, is our enormously popular moderator. We cherish them both and hope the new year brings calm and peace." Not likely if O’Donnell or Trump has anything to say about it…
