Do You See What’s Really There?

Fake smiles, hidden scars, stereotyped as perfect, kind of like my life, talk to me at princesspink001@hotmail.com
They see her smile,
She has blonde hair,
They all look,
But they don't see what's there.
She never cries,
She never fights,
She's never sad?
These are all lies.
She cries at night,
She fights with her mum,
She's sad all the time,
No-one sees the damage that's been done.
They see her smile,
Her innocent stare,
Look into her eyes,
Maybe you'll see what's really there.
When she cries,
She cries alone,
She lives in a house,
Yet has no home.
She sits in the dark,
She cuts a slice,
No-one would believe this feels so nice.
The scars she hides,
The smile she fakes,
The clothes she wears,
This live she hates.
Straightening her hair,
For school she prepares,
She looks in the mirror,
Her look of despair,
She says goodbye,
Walks out the door,
Puts on her fake smile,
And no-one sees more.
