Do You Hear Me (Part Two)

Here's the next part. Tell me what you think. ;) I'll post the next part as soon as I can!
It's Sunday night, I'm sleeping in my bed. When I hear the sound of the fire alarms blaring. I jump out of my bed and look around the room looking for anything important to save. I knew that there really had to be a fire. We wouldn't have a drill in the middle of the night. I grab a bag and shove whatever crap I see around my room. I open the door and hear everybody shouting and running down the hall towards the stairs. I can't see anyone though. There is thick black smoke all around. I breathe in and start to choke because of how horrible it is. I run down the hall trying my best not to breathe or run into anything.

I make it to the stairs and book it down to the first floor and to the doors out of the building. When I get outside I see what looks to be the whole school standing outside. Even though it is dark outside and there is smoke all in the air, I can see the shock on everybody's face. I don't know what to do, so I walk about a hundred yards and throw my stuff down and sit. About two hours later a fire truck pulls up. It looks to be about an hour late since there is no way in saving the school. When the sun finally starts to come up a little, and the smoke sort of clears they direct us into the main office. The main office is a semi big building a little off to the right of the school. It luckily didn't get burned in the fire.

"We don't know how this happened. When the smoke has cleared the fire marshals will check and see if there is anything they can save, but from the looks of it there won't be much." says the dean of the school, Mrs. Hendrix.
"So like, what do you want us to do?" says some blonde girl about twenty feet away from me.
"We still aren't too sure. Lindel Academy isn't too far from here and they say that we are welcome to stay there. You girls could attend school and stay in whatever dorms we could get. Most rooms would probably have to have about three or four girls in them, but we will most certainly take what we can get." Mrs. Hendrix says.

There's hoots and whistles from all the girls in the room. I just sit there quietly and wait for what she tells us to do next.
If we really do go over to the boys academy, it would be crazy. I'd have to share a room with people. And there would be boys there. More people that wouldn't know my existence. I did not want this to happen. At first I thought maybe I was dreaming, but when I pinched myself it hurt. Not dreaming.

"Room assignments!" yells Mrs. Hendrix. About two and a half hours later. "Lindsay Marcel, Blair Singleton, Sarah Sutton, Casey June in room A203. Katie Adams, Ashley Huggins, Rebecca Santos and Mary King room A 204. That's everybody." announces Mrs. Hendrix. I realize that she hasn't said my name for any room. I don't know what to do so I walk up to her.
"Um, Mrs. Hendrix, I don't think you called my name. Spencer Nash?"
"Hmm, Spencer Nash. I'm sorry dear I don't see your name anywhere on this list." she says looking at it again. "Maybe somehow when we made the new room assignments your name got mixed in with they boys. Ha, Spencer it is a bit of a boyish name."
I look at her like she is the most dumbest thing I have ever seen.

"Don't worry dear. We'll get this figured out." she assures me and then walks away.
Everybody is walking around heading for what looks to be the stairs. Probably to go find their rooms, or boys. While I'm walking around pulling around my heavy bags I hear the names of what sounds to be boys behind the door that I'm standing in front of. I had nothing better to do so I pushed it open a little and walk in.

"Stephen Brooks, Michael Thomas, and Spencer Nash room D109." Says a man standing on a stage with a microphone. I stand there shocked at the first name that the man said. Stephen Brooks, that was the name of my old best friend. And then I realize that the man has also just said my name. I see two boys stand up and walk towards the stage to get their room keys. One of them looks really excited and is patting the other on the back. And the other one looks really confused.

"Yo Spencer! You gonna come get your key?!" Yells one of the two boys while he's looking at the group of boys sitting in front of him. Nobody gets up. They are talking about me. They think I am a boy. I don't know what to do so I just stand there.
