Do We Care

Just thinking about something else...
What would it be like to be homeless
would you sit in front of a store asking for money
would you walk around pushing a cart with all your things in it
would you remember if you had food to eat last night or yesterday.

Would you feel like a dog in heat while all the male
dogs circle around you waiting for there chance to hit it
or try to fine a safe place to sleep, and warm hoping
that you would wake for the next day, or if some would fine you dead

Hours seem like days, days feel like weeks,
months like years, and the next day it starts
over again with the hours like days no one but you
as far as you can see complete silent only the noise of your feet walking

What would it be like to be homeless
to me its likes nothingness and the end of days
all in only, trying to fine yourself is a lost cause
wearing the same thing for weeks on end, praying that sweet
death will come and take you away.

**Let me no what you think please.
