Dita Von Teese & Marilyn Manson Split
It has been reported that Dita Von Teese has filed for divorce from her husband of one-year, Marilyn Manson.

Burlesque star Von Teese, 34, reportedly filed for divorce on December 29 citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split. She also listed a separation date of December 24. She is reportedly not seeking spousal support. The split was first reported Friday and it was also reported that Von Teese was having trouble locating Manson, 37, to give him the divorce papers. She was reportedly planning to "ambush" him at a Los Angeles recording studio where he is currently working on his next album.
A source close to Von Teese claims that Manson has been drinking very heavily over the past year and that is the reason for the split. According to the source, Von Teese tried to hold the marriage together but eventually just had enough. Said the source, "She really tried to make this work." The source continued, "He’s not been responsive. She loved him so much, but he has too many demons. He can’t even communicate with her at this point. She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can’t even get him on the phone. She moved out of the house and he hasn’t even noticed."
Von Teese (born Heather Sweet) is most famous for her burlesque routine involving a martini glass. She has also modeled for Playboy and is a spokesmodel for MAC make-up. Manson and Von Teese began dating in 2001 and were married in December 2005 in a ceremony in a castle in Ireland. This was the first marriage for both Von Teese and Manson (real name Brian Warner). Manson was previously engaged to actress Rose McGowan.
