The Dish network comes in the picture in picture (PIP) mode that enables the user to view or record more than two programs at a time. The DirecTV also has this facility of PIP. The difference between the two services is the storage capacity. The storage capacity in DirecTV is 200 hours for SD (standard definition) and 50 hours for HD (high definition). The Dish network has 350 hours of SD recording and 55 hours of HD recording facility.
