Dina Lohan: Reality Star?

The show is tentatively titled "Mom-ager" and will show Dina Lohan trying to make stars of her daughter Ali, 12, and son Cody, 11. The show is reportedly going to be shown on E! Television. The show talk has caused many people to comment negatively about Mommy Lohan. A source reportedly said, "Can you believe that? She totally messed up Lindsay by making her a ‘star’ and living vicariously through her – and now she’s going to do the same to the other two? How the [bleep] can E! do this? Those kids should be in school having normal lives, the life that Lindsay didn’t get to have."

Rather than focus on her already famous daughter who is in rehab for the second time before her 21st birthday, Dina Lohan seems intent on getting on television. She has often referred to herself as "the white Oprah" and has reportedly been trying to get her own show for over a year. She recently appeared as a correspondent for Entertainment Tonight to give the show several exclusives with her daughter Lindsay. The first exclusive was when Lindsay was in rehab for the first time at the Wonderland Center and the second was at the premiere of Lindsay’s movie Georgie Rule.

There have been several sources that have claimed that Mommy Lohan is just as messed up as daughter Lindsay. Dina’s ex, Michael, has recently said that he thinks his ex-wife needs rehab as much as his daughter Lindsay. Not that he has too much room to talk. He seems to be holier-than-thou since finding religion while in prison, but he apparently wasn’t much of a role model to his children either. Can Ali & Cody Lohan escape the dangers of Hollywood and lead a productive life or will they follow the path of their older sister who went from cute as a button to a troubled starlet in a matter of years? With a "Mom-ager" who seems more intent on getting her own fifteen minutes of fame than with the health and well being of her children…who really knows…?
