Dina Lohan Denies Party Mom Image
Lindsay Lohan’s mother, Dina, has denied being a party mom in an interview for the April edition of Harper’s Bazaar.

Mama Lohan has hit back at the reports that she is a bad parent and for letting her daughter’s lifestyle lead her down a dark path. Lindsay just checked out of rehab after a 30-day stint last month. Dina dishes on Lindsay’s problems saying, "Lindsay had to fall and get up. I knew it was coming. I told her, but finally she was like ‘Mommy, I had to do it myself.’ You can lead a horse to water. You can’t make him drink." Dina also claims that she was the instigator for a number of interventions in the past to get her daughter to go to rehab.
As for the party mom image she slammed the rumors and blames her ex-husband for the moniker. She said, "Oh, the party mom, the party mom, the party mom! Whoever said that, my ex-husband or whatever, I’m not the party mom!" She also said, "Lindsay would drag me, literally drag my loser butt there and say, ‘I need you to know who these people are.’ Yeah, she trusts my judgement. She’s in such a whirlwind; she’s in a tornado. I mean, we’re talking serious earthquake, you know?" She continued, "She is just a 20-year old who had to reel it in. And she’s from an addictive personality genetically."
It seems as if Dina just wants to be Lindsay’s friend and not have the responsibility of being her mother. She has also been seen partying and drinking in front of her daughter since she exited rehab…although sources say that the rehab didn’t do much for Lindsay who has been clubbing pretty much non-stop since she checked out of rehab and allegedly drinking again. Mama Lohan’s comments have reportedly drawn criticism from the New York Post and The View co-hosts. A rep for the elder Lohan said, "The woman is honest. Just because the New York Post and Rosie O’Donnell take everything out of context? There’s nothing bad there. Dina’s doing the best she can with what she has. [She] has three other kids. No one ever talks about that." Yeah, where are those kids anyway? And who takes care of them while Mom and Big Sis are out hitting the party circuit?
