Different Kind of Love

I think every one has that person that they are afraid to love, afraid; afraid of getting close to and yet they can't help it. That's what this poem's about.
It's hard to say I love you,
Hard to tell you the way I feel.
But I promise I'll remember
Forever and for always.

How you knew exactly,
What I meant to say.
You said you saw it all,
In the way I looked at you.

However, I'm sorry to say,
You didn't see it all.
You only saw half,
Of what I mean to say.

You didn't see the fear,
Rising in my chest.
You didn't see the anger,
Dwelling in my breast.

And I don't think you understand,
Just how deep I go.
I hate you and I fear you,
Even though I love you so!
