Difference Between a Pheromone and a Perfume!

Find out what a pheromone can do for you and the ways in which it differs from perfumes.
Pheromones are fast emerging on the fragrance market as the new personalized perfumes. Pheromones are scientifically known as the hormones, present in almost all species of animals and insects living on this planet, it is no wonder therefore that the humans are no different. It has been found out that pheromones can actually influence human behavior especially when it comes to finding a mate.

Though pheromones and perfumes are artificially created to make you smell good there are some points of basic difference between the two. A pheromone is chemical composition which is going to exude smell only after it has been applied on the body, this is because it tends to react with the body chemicals and give out a smell that is unique to that person. Pheromone may or may not have smell of its own.

However, a perfume has been created in a way that it already possesses fragrance of its own. Instead of using the body chemicals to give out smell, it may suppress them, however since these too are chemicals these can react with body chemicals go give a little different fragrance, but the basic fragrance will remain that of the perfume that has been originally designed.

Pheromones have the ability to trigger reactions inside the brain, these can help a person in identifying just the right person for them more easily than the perfumes. Perfumes and fragrances are created simply to make you smell good, these cannot help anyone identify just the right mate. However, this identification carried out at times by a hormone is subconsciously done.

Perfumes and fragrances are being created each season by fashion houses all over the world. These fashion houses in fact are well known for these products. However, creating pheromones requires perfect scientific knowledge rather than the fashion sense, therefore, currently pheromones are being created with the help of scientists who are experts in this area.

Most of the perfumes can be used in generous quantities, whereas pheromones need to be used in smaller quantities so that the chemicals can work with the body chemicals to give out unique and special scent for each person.

So try out a pheromone and see whether it really functions according to the claims.
