Diets - Who Has the Time?

Dieting is becoming another task to many Americans. Diet fads, food manuals, ediets, itrainers; they are consuming time that we simply don't have. Find out why you should stop dieting, and how quickly you can be living the healthy lifestyle you desire.
Running errands, doing laundry, washing dishes, cleaning the house, caring for children, visiting friends and family, and attending meetings for work….we are living fast paced, on-the-go lives. With so many responsibilities, how can you possibly find the time to follow a diet? They’re everywhere; no carb diets, raw food diets, cabbage diets, calorie counters, diet manuals, internet dieting with eTrainers, and even game dieting with games such as Wii-Fit . The truth is….you don’t have the time. I

Just as you begin to ask for a smaller serving, or light ingredient, you watch as the food is quickly thrown together and slid down to the cash register..."Quickly, please, you’re total is $15.00 (swipe the card), and thank you. Next!!!!" We can’t slow down the pace of our society, or eliminate the errands we have to accomplish each day; but, we can forget about that dreaded, often stress-inducing, word - DIET.

Are the meal plans, calorie counters, or diet fads not working out for you? Do you find yourself frustrated after a week, and give up? That’s right, forget dieting, and start using the intelligence you were born with....use that brain of yours to start making better choices. Don’t worry about what a book says you should eat at 10am every day. Instead, imagine the power you’ll feel by making the better choice, and saying no to the foods that have gotten you where you are today.

American’s are too busy to squeeze in, yet another, stressful, task in our days. Put away the books, stop journaling every calorie eaten, don’t rush to check your email from your etrainer. Look at the calendar nearest you. Go ahead; find it. Maybe it’s stored in the computer you’re using right now, hanging up on your refrigerator, or tacked up in the office. Count 21 days from today, and mark the date. That could be all it takes to become the new, healthier, slimmer, you!
