I Shall Die In This House

If you leave me alone with nothing then I can promise you I will die…
I fear this house called home
When I am sitting here all alone
Fear the bed might suck me whole
If I roll
Fear the couch might eat me
If I twitch
Fear the windows might
Howl
If I grow too near
I fear that oblivion
Paves my way
If I open a door
Eyes lurk
The steps I take
When I see a mirror
It breaks
The floor will sink
If I fall asleep
The lamps will darken
If I begin to weep
And I shall die
If I am left alone
Is this house
Called home
