Diagnosis of Systemic Yeast Infection - It's in the Blood

Yeast infections are very common, so common that almost everybody has or had one or will get on in his life. How do you get it and how can you get rid of it?
Diagnosis of Systemic Yeast Infection - It's in the Blood
A systemic yeast infection (Candida Albicans) most often occurs in people with compromised immune systems. It is most commonly seen in those with AIDS. When a yeast infection is systemic, it means the yeast has gotten into the bloodstream. The person will have a fever. This can occur without other symptoms being felt. If the infection spreads into the brain, severe mental and behavioral changes can occur.

Some common symptoms of systemic yeast infections are:

Headaches
Earaches
Acne
Cravings for carbohydrates
Indigestion
Fatigue
Heartburn
Bloating
Heartburn
Asthma
Bronchitis
Mental and emotional issues
Anal itching
Vaginitis
Multiple allergies

Those in the natural health community have been conducting research on systemic yeast infections and have found reasons to believe that yeast infections are much more common than once believed. They insist that systemic yeast infections are the cause of several chronic health problems including: chronic fatigue, chronic infections, allergies and many more.

Systemic yeast infections are not always easy to detect and they are very difficult to treat. Doctors make the diagnosis by checking a sample of the patient's stool and possibly running blood and tissue tests. If fungus is found, a diagnosis is made.

If systemic yeast infection is diagnosed, the patient is often immediately given amphotericin or flucytosine intravaneously. Enzymes may be recommended to fight yeast overgrowth and a reoccurence of systemic yeast infection.

According to medical doctors, systemic yeast infections are rare in the general population. If systemic yeast infection is diagnosed, the chances of death are as high as 80%. Natural Medicine professionals tend to believe death occurs so often because of diagnoses that are too late.

Systemic yeast infections are a sore issue between the conventional medical world and the alternative medicine world. That systemic yeast infections exist is not the debate. They clearly do. Natural medicine claims most of the population in the U.S. have it. It is an epidemic and if we all treated it, we would be much healthier. Conventional doctors say that once someone has this bad of an infection, they are at high risk for death. Most do not believe they are that common.
