Diagnosed With Life

Sometimes it's not depression getting you down, it's just life..
Tried so long
To keep myself hidden
One second is all it takes
For her to realize I’m there

Didn’t mean for her to see the pain,
Written in blood on my wrist
Didn’t want her to judge me,
I didn’t ask for her to care

I don’t need help
I’m not crazy
Just another way
Of helping the pain

Don’t send me off
To your people who know better
in their white coats & clipboards
To just be diagnosed with life.
