Desperate

The moments you feel that every thing that do is wrong, and it seems that nobody is interested in your life, it looks like nothing goes well … you are desperate. Ask for His help! God is the One that always was, is and will be there! Forever!
The moments you feel that every thing that do is wrong, and it seems that nobody is interested in your life, it looks like nothing goes well … you are desperate.

In the following rows, you will be able to read about a true experience, one that took place in the most hidden parts of my hearth.

I’m sitting in the deepest desperation valley, at the shadow of a tree without leaves… at the touch of the winters freezing frost… a winter that came so late…it seems to be too late, and not enough. Now, it is too cold… and in my own despair, I am staring at the sky. Moreover, it is as white as the earth is, so that I can not make the difference anymore. I have so many reasons to be happy, to be glad, but I stop in my flesh, I let al my despair feelings dominate the happiness ones.

Why do we think in our flesh, that the good is a deserve and the bad parts are a punishment? We actually deserve death and everyday when we wake up and take a breath of fresh air instead of bowing on our knees to thank for another chance to live on this ephemeral earth we simply live our life? Beside this, sometimes, we swear and blasphemy God, for letting us to pass through the entire steps of life.

Let’s enjoy the fact that we still have the chance to make a difference in world, that we still can be a blessing for someone. It doesn’t matter how others react or what they might think!

Why do we think we deserve snow during the winter time? In an year when it does not come…you can not enjoy the day you are living because you fell betrayed for not getting what you deserve…

Yet, winter comes, with cold… but then you start blaming the sky: "it is to cold!" We want snow…but not frost…we want heat… but we do not want fire; we want freedom, but no rules to assure it, we want clouds but no rain, we want flight but no falling, we want perfection, but we do not want to walk on the perfection road, we want adulthood but no life lessons, we want beauty but we do not want traveling in order to find it, we want friends but we can not pass over little things, we want everything, but we do not want to give anything.

We are selfish and ego centered; pains do not do anything else but teach! They teach you precious lessons of life and although we do not learn life lessons only through pains, despair and cry, it is mainly then, those desperate moments we turn to Him to look for answers.

It is then when we realize that the answers were there since unthinkable times of eternity … waiting for you to find them. Pain pushes you to introspection, it makes you look within yourself to see what problems are ; it is there when you rise your eyes to the white sky, to heaven… and say: "God, You gave and You took, Your name shall be glorified forever" . Raise and continue your hard "road of your life"… a though one, but that deserves to be lived!

A famous doctor in psychology used to say that he had a receipt that would cure any person of despair/depression. This method never failed. If you think that you are threaten by this syndrome, than try this.

The receipt is here: for fifteen days, you have to help someone, to do a good thing for him. It can be anyone, your neighbor or your old friend that you haven spoken to since high school, anyone really! Just do a little something for him: maybe invite him for a cake or help that old lady clean the windows, you name it!

This simple method that helps you to get rid of desperation has a very simple explanation. The doctor says that if you stop thinking about yourself, and you start helping people around you, you will start reconsidering the priorities in your life. You start caring about the things that happen around you, you start appreciating others, and you start being a new person!

If you need help, God is there, His eyes see you this very instant! Ask for His help! He is the One that always was, is and will be there! Forever!

So put a smile on your face and think about the wonderful life we can have walking with Him side by side!
