Designing Friendship Bracelets is so Enjoyable

Designing your bracelet is one of the most exciting elements of creativity when you start to make friendship bracelets. Choosing the colors and the pattern is most often the most exciting part. Embroidery floss can be purchased in most craft stores and if you are lucky you can find some other discount retailers selling this off at really good prices it's really just a matter of shopping around and keeping a sharp eye on bargains.

You'll find that embroidery floss comes in a variety of different colors. If you are just starting out on your first project you may wish to start off using a monochromatic color scheme, which, will consist of dark, and light colors and also shades of the same color. It's really where most people start and begin to experiment especially on you for project as you become more familiar in hell and the patterns work you can obviously then express your creative side more and choose other colors when making your bracelets.

As a little bit of a guideline if you are looking for a warm color scheme you should use oranges, reds and yellows. If you're looking for a much cooler color scheme you can use things like blue, green and also a violet can really look well. For primary color schemes you should use the basic primary colors of blue, yellow and red and then of course secondly color schemes consists of orange, green and violet.

Obviously you can experiment with colors as you become more familiar with hail the intertwine with each other. You can always get some color scheme ideas for your bracelet designs by simply looking at patterns in various different types of fabric. There are many websites now available dedicated to enthusiasts who range in experience from beginners to very experience that will be able to give you lots of advice. One recommendation I recently came across on choosing color schemes was a video on YouTube which is a great resource because you can see exactly how each bracelet is made and how long it takes and of course you can see how the color schemes of interact with each other as people are all different and have different tastes and styles.

Overall no matter what level you are at when you're designing your bracelet you will of course be using your creative side. Never let anybody tell you otherwise but if you are only starting out get the basics first before you start to experiment.
