Designate Communications To Render Speechless and Become Silent-Oh the Gifts
Unlock Your Creativity- Be Silent

Designate communications to render speechless and become silent.

"Any intelligent fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius -- and a lot of courage -- to move in the opposite direction."

~Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein, can you imagine having lunch or dinner with this guy? How would you find your voice? Would you chatter and carry on about all the things you normally think of? Would you lock up and become speechless and even if he spoke to you have your listening ears, as Judge Judy calls them, completely turned off?

Lets forget the fact that he is not alive and it isn't even possible.. ha! If he was alive though and you actually did have a chance to sit and chat over a meal, would you find your voice? Or would you have too much of one. Or would your phone go off and fine you visiting with whoever was on the other line while all the while you sitting there with Einstein?

What about the quote above? Maybe just sitting in silence listening is be enough.

There is a quote in the Bible that goes:

"I wisdom, dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions."

"Silence is golden", a quote that we hear often too.

With all this wisdom around us saying, "Be Quiet", maybe sometimes we should be. Do you think that while Leonardo da Vinci was painting, "The Last Supper" he was chattering away? Probably not huh?

So, today? Turn off your cell phone, TV, radio, iPod and whatever else is going on, and just 'listen'. Listen for a bird or maybe a word from the wise. Designate communications to render speechless and become silent.

When you do? Creativity will begin to make gentle little plans for you. Take pen in hand and just let it fly or pick flowers and arrange them for you dinner. Simple stuff is often our most creative gift.

Who knows, you might have an Einstein or Leonardo da Vinci in your midst.

Once in a great while I let voice mail pick it up, but not often.
Telephones are for MY convience so YES, I don't always pick it up.
I NEVER ANSWER the phone, my kids are always on it!
