Depression At Its Best

Every day now gets slower,
And I see a little black cloud.
It follows me to hurt me,
Cut me down when I feel proud.

I feel stronger holding the blade,
And with every cut I breathe.
Every1 is just using me,
I’m the one they hate and deceive.

I cut away the pain I feel,
And it gets me through the day.
But as my cloud gets bigger,
I push more and more people away.

The days are now basically paused,
My whole world's been put on hold.
Just for the moments I bleed.
Breaking my own pain threshold.

And as my life is stopping,
I’m sure soon I’ll cut too deep.
I'll leave everything behind,
As I find peace and tranquility.

If at any stage you miss me,
Just put a smile upon your face.
This world was just too much,
Remember; I found a better place.
