Depressed Twirler

I'm a twirler and I know that most twirlers will agree with me when I say we're pretty good at faking. This is my first poem posted on here. Hope you like it!
Glitzed and glam
And lookin' fine,
It's time to go;
It's time to shine.

Hair done up,
Makeup great,
Ready to please the crowds,
Open the gate!

But underneath still needs some work
Dark, bloody thoughts still to arise
Under the mask of a queen
They are sure to find a surprise!

Making the headlines on every page
"They're the most elegant girls to be seen,"
Compliments on everything!
"They're classy and very lean."

Too bad they don't get to look inside
With such skill and flair
I'm sure they change the mind,
But, hey, what do we care?

We aim to please
That much is done
To have the best facade
To have the look of having the most fun.

Continue buying our charade
It's what you're meant to do
C'mon inside and watch us play
The twisted game where we'd all beat you.
Did you like it?
Loved it!
It was really good.
It was okay.
Don't really have an opinion.
I didn't think it was that good.
It sucked.
I hated it.
