Denise Richards Slams Nanny Claims

The nanny, who has remained unnamed, did a recent interview with Star magazine and slammed her former employee. The nanny called Richards a "Jekyll and Hyde" character and claims that she changes from "pleasant to unpleasant in an instant." The nanny also said Richards sleeps with 14 dogs and has coffee imported from Hawaii which she "guzzles." The nanny also reportedly said Richards is "irritable," "can't focus," and is "prone to temper tantrums."

Richard spokesperson, Jill Fritzo, has slammed the claims saying, "The story is untrue." The nanny went on to say, "In the morning, she’s sweet and friendly, but…by one o’clock, she seems wired and confused. She changes plans from one minute to the next. She’d tell me, ‘(Daughter) Lola needs to sleep at this time,’ and then changes her mind. She’d tell me to pick up the kids at school and then say, ‘I’m going to go, I have the time."

Richards and her ex-husband Charlie Sheen have two daughters – Sam, 3, and Lola, 2. They are currently fighting over custody of the girls. Sheen has accused Richards of using her nannies to spy on him and his fiancée Brooke Mueller, by insisting the nannies accompany the girls on visits with their father. He is currently seeking a better custody arrangement that will permit him to hire his own nanny for the girls. Richards and Sheen were married in 2002. She abruptly split from Sheen in March 2005 and filed for divorce the following month. Their divorce was finalized in November 2006.
