Denise Richards Slams Charlie Sheen

Richards and Sheen most recently battled it out in court when he tried to get a judge to block her from filming a reality show that included their daughters Sam, 3, and Lola, 2. The judge allowed Richards to proceed with the show provided she follows unreleased guidelines. Sheen, unhappy with the outcome, has been urging fans to boycott the show. His reaction has angered Richards.

Richards said, "This is the first time I’ve publicly commented on one of his attacks, but I need to take a stand at some point. He’s such an angry person. This court battle wasn’t about our girls on the show, it was him battling me. He wasn’t trying to protect the kids at all." She added, "He lost. So now he wants my show to fail." She claims that he is using the show as leverage in their custody case. Sheen reportedly feels that the show exploits the couple’s children.

Richards and Sheen were married in June 2002. Richards abruptly filed for divorce in March 2005 when she was six-months pregnant with the couple’s second child. They briefly reconciled before officially calling it quits in January 2006. Since then the two have been hurtling insults in each other’s direction and in and out of court battling for custody of the girls. The show is set to debut on E! this summer. Richards said she decided to do the show so people can see what she is really like and that they can "judge for themselves if they believe these tabloid stories."
