Demi God Drama Preview
Amelia's life is perfect, at least in her eyes. She has a good best friend. The "Populars" don't even notice her and she is mastering her powers better each day. But when the new boy shows up, A big ball of drama is thrown her way...
Amelia quietly tiptoed out her room and down the hall. She sneaked down the stairs and into the kitchen. She heard a noise and paused. When she heard nothing she continued to the fridge. She grabbed a slice of pizza and shut the fridge door. She took a giant bite and turned around. SHe jumped and screamed.
"Holy crap! what are you doing?" she asked with her mouth full.
"What are you doing sneaking around?" Her best friend Scarlette asked laughing. "Haha, very funny. I was hungry so I came down and grabbed something to eat." They both walked back to their room.
"I thought you were someone else at first! Don't ever do that again!" Amelia said sitting on her bed.
"Someone like Conner?" she said teasingly. Conner was popular, handsome and untouchable. Amelia was invisible a dork, and clumsy. She knew it was pretty much impossible but still had a crush on him anyway.
"NO...maybe." she said smiling.
"Changing the subject," said Amelia "What are we gonna do tomorrow?"
"Well, I heard some new kid is coming. We could show him around. At least try before he's sucked into Olivia's "cool kids only" spider webb." Amelia laughed. Scarlette hated Olivia and all the other cool kids just as much as Amelia. She was always coming up with nicknames and things to call them.
"Okay sounds interesting." The girls settled into their beds and went to sleep. Everything was great for Amelia. She didn't mind so much being invisible. It meant nobody picked on her and she didn't have to worry about all the drama. Her teachers liked her and she was a good student. She was mastering her powers and her life was good at Deveon High, School for the Children of the Gods. At least until Ricky Cross came to the school...
"Holy crap! what are you doing?" she asked with her mouth full.
