Delusional Love: Chapter - 4
"He loves to play around" said Sarah.
It was a bright sunny morning. I took aunt to the hospital for her check up. Sarah called me and asked me if I wanted to go shopping with her. I said I was busy at the hospital. She told me that she was near the hospital so I decided to meet her. I checked on aunt and told her I’d be back within an hour. I met Sarah in the coffee shop. She was alone.
"Hey how are you? And how is Ms. Bennet? She asked.
"Doctors are examining her, it usually takes 2 hours."
"Okay. By the way, did you enjoy the party last night?" Sarah asked.
"Yeah, it was great. I had a wonderful time."
"Till you’re here you can hangout with us" she said with a smile.
"Thanks a lot" I replied.
We ordered coffee.
"Ms. Bennet always talks about you. She is very fond of you. She told me you want to study Literature." Sarah asked me.
"Aunt always treated me like her own daughter. She encouraged me to take Literature; she knew how much I love reading." I said smiling.
"I don’t like reading much. I mean it’s not that I don’t read at all. I read Vogue, Cosmo and I love Nancy Drew."
"Oh that’s great!" I fall short of words.
"You know I am more of an artist. So I took Fashion Designing. I love designing clothes and I wish to be a model too." Sarah said with lot of excitement.
"That’s cool. I hope you’d give me some discount on your clothes once you become a top designer."
"Of course I would." She said and we both laughed.
I suddenly realized that it was getting late.
"I have to take your leave now Sarah. Aunt must be waiting for me." I said.
"Oh wait for few more minutes." I nodded. "How do you know Adam?" she asked inquisitively.
"I saw him at a cafe and then I officially met him at a book shop."
"Oh, so you two are friends now or what?"
"No, we’re not friends. I don’t even know him properly so how can we be friends."
"Adam is my brother’s friend. He is a nice guy but he loves to play around. If you know what I mean." She said raising her eyebrow.
"I think I know what you mean." I said assuring her.
"Do you have a boyfriend?" she asked curiously.
"No, I am single at the moment."
"That’s great I know some really hot guys that I can set you up with."
"Oh no…no. I am not ready for anything right now." I said.
"Well whenever you’re ready." She said smilingly.
I took her leave and went straight to the hospital but I couldn’t find aunt. I asked one of the doctors and they told me that she has left. I tried to call her but her phone was switched off. I rushed towards home. I knocked at the door and was shocked to see the person who opened it. It was Adam!
"Please come in" he said with his charming smile.
"Hey how are you? And how is Ms. Bennet? She asked.
